I got 2 100 round boxs of large rifle, today at Sportsmens ware house. In Traverse city. Michigan . CCI for $8.99 each plus tax. 1st large rifle primers iv seen in well over a year or so.
On-line, I am seeing small pistol for about a nickel per pop, small rifle for under $0.07, large pistol running about $0.08 each and large rifle at no less than $0.12 each. Shipping and hazmat comes into play, though. If you buy a large enough quantity then shipping and hazmat aren't too bad.
Is that Natchez price before hazmat, tax, shipping?
Yes, but if you buy 5000 you can divide the hazmat up between 5 boxes and your price comes out to around 75.00 a box and I'll guarantee you Midway ain't losing money at it. just keep in mind your local crooks are paying the same as midway and they are charging that much more.
These damn sporting goods stores are fuqking people over left and right for primers. I'm sick and tired of it so I quit buying anything from the local crooks and am ordering everything now, screw them!

Bought a brick of cci small rifle BMs for 160.00 sunday at cabelas. Had only a 100 of the cci small rifle for 10.00, No large rifle, seemed to have a bunch of pistol primers.
I just gave $99.00 per thousand for CCI #450 out the door. I hated it but what are you going to do when you need them. I bought 5,000 for $84.00 per thousand with free ship and hazmat. I hated it but I like to shoot my 9mm pistol in club shoots. I paid $317.00 per 8 lb. of Sport Pistol. Prices are out of sight.
Cal Ranch had a 15% off anything you could fit inside of one of their 5 gallon buckets. I got 8# of H110, four 1# of CFE223 and two bricks of CCI #450s for $450. The primers were $60 a brick and I would have bought more if they had them. Everything else was $9 per 100 or more.

I’ve got a pretty good idea this “shortage” will quietly go away IF Trump is re-elected. I genuinely believe it is BS gouging at the distributor and manufacturer level.
If prices do triple in the next five years, I’ve got a bass boat and a set of golf clubs that don’t get enough use…..
Not that it matters, but depends where you are from. Here a pack is 100, a brick is 1000, a case is 5000.
Last I checked here couple weeks back I could get WLR for either $75 or $77 a brick, I wasn't a buyer at that. Let them for somebody else, I got enough. Maybe they're not available anymore, dunno.

Sadly, you may be right. I have been saying for the last year that $50-60 a box for hunting ammo will be the new normal. The $9.99 a box days are LONG gone.
I've bought quite a few Federal and cci small rifle and small pistol primers for $59/1000. That's the price I have a hard time passing up these days. I've seen others for $80-$120 and I pass on those.
Not out and I don't want to get that way but it broke my heart yesterday, I paid $138.00 shipped for 1000 Winchester large pistol primers from Midway....$87.99 + tax + shipping + Hazmat = $138.00.

I just ordered 4,000 from them for $215.00 after tax, free shipping. You had a choice in shipping, Fed Ex for $20.00, UPS for $20.00, or Free Shipping. What service do they use for the free shipping if not Fed Ex or UPS? USPS??
Have not bought any for 8 years. A little low on small pistol but enough for now. I am crippled up now and not out shooting much. Been loading for my boys and the guns they will get when I leave this earth. Should have enough.

locally they are about 80/1000. Large rifle is probably the one that gets sold out. Grice had a 1000/day limit only on large rifle, other primers are unlimited. I'm pretty sure you can only get one 8 pounder of powder per day. Typically the reloading sale is in a few weeks. I don't think they had reloading sale special for 2 years.
Bought some Winchester large pistol and small pistol primers at Cabelas just now for $89 per 1000.
Hodgdon BL-C(2) and HP-38 were $39 per pound.
What’s the difference in blue box Winchester primers and the red and silver boxes? I noticed the red/silver large pistol box isn’t marked “for standard and magnum loads” like the blue box.
