Dirk Borgarde was British Army intelligence on Monty's staff and was in Arnhem during Market Garden. The character he played in A Bridge Too Far, General Browning, uttered the words "a bridge too far" before the battle not after. John Addison wrote the music, he was a tanker in XXX Corps blasting up the road and crossing those bridges.

Tombstone is amazing. Most of the names aren't all that impressive on their own, but together they make a great movie.
