Anyone watching today???

Scotty Scheffler leading at -8 so far.

Tiger having a rough start at plus 7. 😂
Bet the “announcer’s will still have a Tiger “Lovefest” 🤪

I am watching it.
Tiger is 8 over after nine...LOL That means he'll tap out soon. hahahaha

But, but ,but, they all said he was in contention at the start of round 3 smirk

I saw that he set the new record for most consecutive cuts made at the Master - 24

Yep. Figured he’d soon claim his back “was hurting” or some schitt. 🤪

If they are complaining about that gentle breeze, they should come to South TX and play a few rounds 😁

He won't finish ! Book it! I would like to see Cameron Smith win it.
I don't know how the rest of the field plays with all that slobber on the ground from the announcers lovefest over Tiger.
The course is full of ball washers. !

lol

Their guts are definitely full of Tiger milk.
Is cheetah still one behind Sam Sneed for most wins ?
Yep watching it too

Pulling for Dechambeau just cuz he's goofy
I like Dechambeau, cuz I thinks he's kind of an A hole. lol
Tiger at plus 11 now. Tied for 52nd place. 😂😂😂
Posted By: Pat85 Re: The Master’s Tournament - 04/13/24
Do the announcers stop talking about Tiger long enough to comment on the tournament??
Hell, they can't stop yammering about him even in tournaments he isn't playing.

One good thing...Even if he doesn't drop out tonight he'll finish on Sunday hours before the end. We won't have to suffer watching him.
That would be nice.
Scheffler will be tough to beat.

Let’s hope so. The Tiger ball washing by the so called announcing crew got old in a hurry.
Nice recovery by Scotty Scheffler to finish in the lead today. He’s at -7 or ahead of Morikawa by one stroke.

Hopefully he can hang on to the lead tomorrow.
Bryson having a difficult back 9

Go Scottie!
Tiger hit back-to-back double bogies. Today was not his day.
Tiger is a dirtbag.

You want to cheat on your wife, that’s a douche move, but when you have kids, that escalates you into double dirtbag.

There are fifteen players within 6 strokes of the leader going into the final round.

Should be entertaining.
Yes it looks like a great day of golf lined up for us.

Yep
A good friend of mine’s son is tied for 28th currently. He’s a good kid and a hell of a golfer. He won’t win, but he’s got a lot of years get to play. He has made some great money the last couple of years, though.
I hope Sheffler hangs on; he's great, just have to see see how his longevity holds up.

The Aberg kid is going to be really good too.

And I've been sick of the Tigger drooling for a very long time. No matter how much the media wants him to be great again, it's not going to happen............ever.

He's always been a jerk & he always will be & I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.

Also sad to see how frail Nicklaus is & how much stature he's lost..........he's now the same height as Gary Player who's about 5'8" or so. During his playing days he was 6 - 6'1".

What kind of money does 28th place get?

Found it. $148,000
The kid’s name is Taylor Moore. He’s tied at 31st now, but he’s even through 8 today. Lots of play, and more players to drop in. He climbed to 26th earlier. The leader board looks like wheel of fortune beyond the top 10 or so.

Did y'all see the birdie by DeChambeau on the 18th?

Is he really good, or is he really lucky?

I don't care how far he hits it, he has one ugly swing.

Tiger dead last, ouch. Lot of big names doing poorly.

Scotty is hard to bet against, ever, it seems.

Noticed a while back that golf interviewer Amanda Renner was no longer wearing her wedding ring.

And today CBS introduced her in the credits using her pre-marriage name Amanda Balionis.

None of my business of course, just an observation, as I have been a fan of hers for some time.

Mainly because I find her to be very easy on the eyes.
He had to be a real idiot to leave Amanda, with all those wonderful toys to play with.

Anybody know how Speith is doing? He's the only one I follow anymore. I'll probably tune in in a hour or so.

Unfortunately, Jordan didn’t make the cut.
He had a triple bogey in his final round.

He’s still one of my favorites, though. Hopefully he’ll make the cut next year.
Speith had all the tools to be a wunderkind, seemed like he won everything in sight. And then he started "tuning" his swing. Catastrophe. If he'd just go back to the time when he'd look at where he wanted the ball to go and hit the damn thing, he'd win again.

Agreed Rocky. 👍🏻

He was flat out amazing before he started trying to “tweak” his swing.

Seems there are just some things we do better without trying to overthink it. 🤪
Too bad Wood's game came off the rails yesterday, was hoping for a miracle!

Always nice to see records broken.
Tigers in 60th place. Dead last. His score is plus 16. 😂😂🤪
Sweet! Just started watching it.

Sad hey, chlinstructor?

It's amazing he is even still playing with all of the surgeries he has undergone, especially with the last ones after the car accident and the spinal fusion in 2017.

Here is the list of surgeries, I am surprised he even walks normally now. (copied from the interweb lol)

1994: Two benign tumors and scar tissue are removed from Woods's left knee.

2002: Fluid removed from inside and outside the ACL of his left knee. Benign cysts also removed.

2008: In April after the Masters, has surgery on his left knee to repair cartilage damage. In May, he was told by doctors that he had two stress fractures in his left tibia.

In June, he famously won the U.S. Open on that injured leg before undergoing surgery to repair his left ACL using a tendon from his right thigh.

2014: After withdrawing from two events in the Florida Swing, has surgery on a pinched nerve in his back

2015: In September, Woods has two microdiscectomy surgeries on his back to remove bone fragments that were pinching a nerve.

In October, he has another back surgery.

2017: In April, he has a spinal fusion, his fourth back surgery.

2019: In August, he has arthroscopic surgery to what he described as minor cartilage damage in his left knee. It's his fifth procedure on the knee.

2021: In January, he undergoes another back surgery, again a microdiscectomy to remove a bone fragment that was pinching a nerve.

In February, Woods has a car accident in California. His right leg and ankle are severely broken, requiring emergency surgery including inserting a rod into his tibia and screws and pins into his foot and ankle.

2023: In April, two weeks after the Masters, Woods has ankle surgery to address issues associated with a talus fracture that occurred during the 2021 car crash.
He can still FCK HIMSELF.

No argument from me buddy!

I always laugh when people say Muhammad Ali was the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time when Rocky Marciano clearly was!

Ali: 56 wins and 5 losses with 37 knockouts

Rocky Marciano for the GOAT WIN!

49 fights, 49 wins 0 losses, By knockout 43.

White boys for the GOAT win, it's not our fault we are smarter and tougher hahahaha

Homa is a buddy of mine… rooting hard for him!! Morikowa is also a grad from my alma mater so hope he keeps it close… love the Masters!! Back nine will make or break every one.

Damnit… Scheffler is just too good right now. Max got hosed on that bad bounce on 12 into the bushes.
Back to back birdies just put Scheffler at -10

Looks like he’s got this one just about wrapped up.

Morikawa pretty much fell apart on the back 9. 🤪
Yeah Morikawa not lookin so great right now.

Impressed with Åberg

LOL. No doubt!
Scheffler now at -11. Only 3 holes to play.

Aberg -7

Morikawa & Homa both at -5.

It’s a good thing Scotty’s wife didn’t domino today.
He said yesterday he would quit the tournament if his wife went into labor. 🤪
If his Wife called and said, I am about to go into labor....would he finish the next three holes or rush to the airport ?
Aberg just blew up on hole 17.

Scheffle’s got this for sure now.

LOL. I find that hard to believe. He’d be giving up MILLIONS $$$$$. 🤪
What does a Masters champion win this year ?
Google opened back up. 3.6 million to the winner.

Wow! Congratulations to Scheffler.

Any Masters Tournament that Tiger doesn’t win is a GREATTTTTTTT ONE. 😂
I doubt he'll ever win another PGA event. He's tied with Sam Snead @ 82.

Let’s see.

10,000 people are born every day

There’s been 90 Masters Tournaments and fewer number of individuals who have won it

I’m sure those LIV guys are wiping their tears with hundred dollar bills…. The game of golf is better with LIV players in the field. Just look at the winners on the PGA this year, most are first time winner/ no namers.

LOL, I'm sure the Masters champion will be logging on here any minute now to get advice on what he should do when his first child is born.
The greatest golf tournament in the world. Only 56 different men have ever won it. A lifetime of fame and fortune awaits the Masters champion.

And he should walk away from that to watch a baby being born?

No. He stays on the job, and completes his work. He is not an OB doc, he's not even an RN, he has nothing to contribute to the chaos of the delivery room. He can show up on Monday morning to see his newborn son.

And when his son is 11 years old, he will tell the other sixth graders, "My daddy won the Masters."

He should do what's right for him.

Not you, or anyone else.

He was already one of those 56 men.

How many kids do you have?
Posted By: Calvin Re: The Master’s Tournament - 04/15/24
Being there for kids being born wasn’t as awesome as I thought it would be. Honestly up to age 2 there isn’t much dad can do unless the mom is incapable. Once your kids get to age 5 it all becomes about dad, particularly if your kids play sports.

You sure do a lot of virtue signaling regarding your non-sports-watching prowess.

Maybe some guys just wanna eat a pimento sammy and drink an azalea cocktail in their LazyBoy recliner while watching Tigger do his favorite 18 holes. I cannot find fault with that.
I watched 2 childbirths in the OB ward in the hospital when I was in training to be a paramedic.
Working as a paramedic, I assisted in 3 childbirths in my ambulance. Honestly those were about 3 of the nastiest ambulance calls I ever ran, and I saw some pretty grim stuff, in 14 years as a paramedic.

I have no desire to watch another childbirth.

Y'all would give up a $3 million payday to watch a kid get born, you go get 'em.

So you're comparing watching a total stranger give birth to watching the woman you exchanged vows with bear your child?

You think they're comparable?

Another dumbasss thing to say, but congrats. SS is worth north of $50M already. His wife and child obviously means more to him than yours does to you, which is why you don't get it. You need to quit while you're way behind.
If I had a green jacket and millions in the bank, I’d be gone in a flash to the hospital.

My first shot at real money and a jacket…….4th kid? Well, it might be a different decision. And one I don’t have to worry about.

I know I couldn’t imagine not being there for my boys arrival into the world.

I also know looking at the list of players that didn’t make the cut was a bit surprising. I think I might be getting old😬😂
if I jumped off the 16th hole with a 4 stroke lead on Masters Sunday, my wife would go Ellen Woods on my azz. lol.

Even tho' I do not partake in the sport of golf, it is far from mindless. As a matter of fact. it is probably more mental than physical once you have mastered the fundamentals.
