Jesse watters reporting an elephant, Vola, loose in a Montana city.....trainer in hot pursuit.....

Vola may need a shock collar......I highly recommend the sport dog 425......worked wonders for my crazy daisy, a runner chocolate lab....
Maybe somebody can run it down with a snowmobile and display it in the bar!
Elephants never forget. Never offend the elephant.
Now all those Marlin SBLs with Garrett 540s have something to do...
In 1916 an elephant escaped the circus in Elkton, SD. It had to be killed, 300 bullet holes in Hero the elephant. Everybody wanted to get in on that elephant hunt.
Give him a mate there will be wooly mammoths in Yellowstone after a generation or two. Kinda like hogs.

Hopefully.
Where are the Sri Lankan Indians when you need em.....

They cud race elephants in Louisville Kentucky
What? no stimulating campfire discussions on the best dangerous game cartridge, bullet weight, muzzle velocity, Ft. Lbs. of energy, trajectory, etc. etc. Forget about that displaying it in a bar. I doubt it will fit through the door.

300 residents all drew a once in a lifetime SD elephant tag?

He will then find a loophole

Sell the ivory

And buy George Washington’s 1776 flintlock at a local gunshow
It’s never been west of Pocatello

You mistake the campfire for individuals well versed in those things you described.
It won’t be long before someone asks if 88s in a .223 is enough for elephants.
Reminds of a book I read about an escaped elephant in Erwin, TN around the turn of the century. It trampled the town drunk so they decided they had to kill it. They hung it from a logging train car.
If it makes it to Texas my money is on GeeDubya.

Get a couple skeens of paracord and weave an extension for the strap.

Too bad the pachyderms weren’t loose when Tester got elected

I bet a towel head can call him in with some flute music.
I've heard of elephants, like cows, getting drunk from eating fermented fruit.

Absolutely, those things are magical! Of course it’s all about shot placement…wouldn’t be legal for big game in Va though.

It wasn’t drunk, it trampled its handler that was known to be the local town drunk.

Sorry for the confusion.

Shows what you guys know about hunting Tuskers in America. Only a Creedmore will save the day, just ask those who carry one. I hear Holland and Holland are offering a side by side version.
