I hope the Cowboys do win so there is NO doubt when Greenbay takes the field for the Superbowl, who the better team is.
Here's to a clean game with no injuries.

If they do they'll have to play the best game they've had this year.

I'm gonna call my daughter and son inlaw in Dallas and razz them before the game starts!

The asss kick'n is about to start....
Giants defense is suspect at best...
Posted By: BrotherBart Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/13/08
Touchdown Cowboys !!!!
Posted By: TexasRick Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/13/08
Gonna be a long night for the Giants if Barber keeps doing what he has so far.
Posted By: Adkstalker Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/13/08
Barber is pretty good, they're gonna have to figure something out...wait TOUCHDOWN GIANTS!!!
Posted By: dakota blues Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/13/08
game on
Posted By: TexasRick Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/13/08
They better keep scoring every time they get thr ball, 'cause Dallas is going to eat up the clock with Barber pounding it out. One slip by the Giants and they'll be down by 14.....with short time to play
Posted By: Steve_NO Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/13/08
Giants win this one in a close one....and I don't say that just because I was Eli's little league coach when he was 6.
Posted By: BrotherBart Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/13/08
Has he always had that stupid look on his face?
Posted By: Steve_NO Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/13/08
No, that's the Manning family look. Archie had it, too. But he could throw a laser from first base to third, and hit it over the fence every time at bat. Which not many 6 year olds could do.
Posted By: BrotherBart Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/13/08
17-14 Cowboys...
Posted By: Steelhead Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/13/08
The real test will be in Lambeau field next week.
Posted By: BrotherBart Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/13/08
If Dallas wins the game will be at home....
Giants are about to fold....
Posted By: Steelhead Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/13/08
I know where the games will be, hence my post.
Posted By: dakota blues Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/13/08
funniest response I've read today . . . nice. About Eli's face since the tender age of 6.
Posted By: BrotherBart Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/13/08
You know I'm the master of the obvious....Come on...
Posted By: let_me_in Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/13/08
The Giants defense better stsrt getting off the field on third down or the Cowboys are going to win this going away.
Posted By: 257_Roy Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
Looks like it is about to get real quiet down in Texas.

Whatinhell happened to the Isaac curse?
Posted By: 257_Roy Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
Now, we get to see if Romo is a man.
Posted By: Adkstalker Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
Hate to say it...TOUCHDOWN GIANTS!!
Posted By: shreck Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
Romo is pulling them out of his buttox. The recievers are sure dropping a few.
Posted By: BrotherBart Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
I ain't worried yet....
Posted By: let_me_in Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
Two Dallas punts now, and how?.. the Giants have no secondary, and darn little pass rush.
Posted By: TexasRick Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
Ok.....they held the Giants. Now get the lead out and move the ball down the field for a change or it will be the Cowboys behind with time running out.

Damn that was hard to admit!
Posted By: ThomasP93 Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
this game is gettin 2 be worse than i though...prediction...27-23 dallas
Posted By: Adkstalker Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
Gettin nervous here...wish we didnt give them such field position.

Wheres Phil Simms when you need him...never thought I'd say that!
Posted By: bearstalker Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
This game just proves why the Packers will be heading to the Super Bowl.
Posted By: Adkstalker Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
I cant believe the Giants couldnt get a first down just to run the clock out...2 minutes left and they give the ball back to dallas. jesus thats dumb

wow....well at least we know the packs kick some giant a$$ in the championship and then i say packs beat pats in a close game in the bowl...
Posted By: let_me_in Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
That was a great game, no shame on the Dallas side of the ball. The Cowboys will be there next year as well.

Congrats to the Giants fans.
Posted By: Barkoff Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
Don't dislike the Cowboys, in fact could be the only time in my life I have pulled against a team because of one player..."get your popcorn ready"

Posted By: ThomasP93 Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
well...just like i said for the yankees last year...there is always next year...
Posted By: oulufinn Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
Cowboys need to practice a little harder next year. Too many bonehead drops and penalties. They really have a better team, but they didn't show it, when it counted. Playoffs are a bit different than the regular season, again...

Another NFC championship game in Green Bay... How cool is THAT!! Giants are tough, gotta prepare for a WAR!!! grin

I...LOVE...IT!!!!

Could not possibly have happened to a more deserving team, franchise and owner. And I ain't talking about the Giants grin.

Little has made me grin more in many moons than the look on Jerry Jones face...that was fricken priceless. And Jimmy Johnson, Troy Aikman and all the other closet Dallas boosters have to suck it up on camera and act like professionals. Even the refs didn't get to give it away to Dallas, like they usually do.

And it kind of tickles me that the huntin' fishin' beer-drinkin' good-old-boy from Loosiana gets to go to the big dance. And I ain't talking about Eli Manning grin.

Great game...just made my day, week and month... grin grin grin.

Man, that sucked. The Giants didn't win this game, the Cowboys lost it.

Jason Garrett's vaunted skills as an offensive coordinator have been exposed over Dallas' last 4 games. The offensive play-calling tonight by Garrett was pathetic.

On the other side of the ball, I thought the Giants' defense was rock-solid everywhere except the middle of the field. Romo should have been able to exploit the middle all day long. Nobody has rushed Romo as effectively all season as the Giants did today. Kudos to those guys.

As for Eli, I'm sorry, other than the drive just before the half, he looked pretty ordinary to me.

I expect the Packers will eat the Giants alive next weekend.

One thing I've observed about the playoffs over the past norty-feven years or so is that the team coming into the playoffs with the most momentum tends to carry it all the way to the prize. Right now, in terms of momentum, I'd call the Giants #3, the Pats #2, and the Packers #1.

Look for Brett Favre to earn his second Ring in 3 weeks.
Posted By: dakota blues Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
You've seen the very best of Favre; he'll take a step backwards next week. I think it will be a real close game.
Posted By: Stan V Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
I'm just glad I didn't do a lot of smack talking.....
Posted By: Teal Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
Re-match of the 62 Championship game - one of our numerous. Will be good.

As to last week being the best Brett has ever played? Not on your life. 400 yards on Monday night after his Dad passed. That was the best game by any quarterback ever IMO.

Next week will be tough - The Pack (a team picked to go 6-10 mind you) is one game away from the Super Bowl.

Posted By: Alamosa Re: Dallas Cowboys - 01/14/08
I'm happy to see Favre be able to play in front of Green Bay fans for one more game.

Quite a few of the Dallas players seem awful brash and arrogant. It's a stark contrast to Wade Phillips who is so low key and a pretty likeable guy.

Giants were lucky. Nothing wrong with being lucky.

Yep I'd give the credit to number 84 he didn't catch two very big balls that were catchable at key points in the game. He wasn't in the inzone on the last big catch he missed he was standing on the goal line with the defender the ball feel to the turf at the mid point in the inzone five yards from him ( didn't run his pattern).
