Bill Tapply died tuesday.
http://www.williamgtapply.com/A writer who could tell a great tale, be it bird hunting or fishing. A good mystery writer as well. RIP.
Did he do "Tap's Tips?"
Regardless, I hate to see these icons, or semi-icons, depending on how you feel, go under.
Yeah he did as did his father before him.
A very good friend of his, Phillip Craig died about a year ago. They wrote a few books togather, with the story taking place on Martha's Vineyard. Both were among mt favorite authors.
I just read his essay "Invisible Writing" on his website. Great stuff.
Steve
Sad day, I enjoyed his writing.
Jon
Sad news. May he rest in peace.
William G. Tapply died Tuesday 28 July 2009, but his written words still instruct and delight. A sample of his articles is available on
www.williamgtapply dot com. I believe that he was a master of the writer's craft.
