i've read (repeatedly) that ted is the single most sought after spokesman for the 5th amendment as well as the opposition to gun control. many think he is over the top on his tv show, but the guy is right on target when doing a 1 on 1 interview with the media. ymmv.

Many years ago I met a young man who had a part time goose hunting guide thing going on in the Finger Lakes region of NY State...a farm kid... guess he was about 20 at the time...

He had guided Nugent on one of those hunts.... The kid was appalled over how vulgar Nugent's language was... make a sailor blush... was the term he used... maybe the kid was lying but I have always thought that the Nugent hero worship so common in the shooting world had the potential to turn out bad...

I definitley agree with Ted on his views regarding the 2nd amendment. The whole underage sex thing though is another matter. I'm curious as to what his view of that would be today, if he would admit that it was wrong. The Vietnam thing I got no problem with. I think citizens are responsible for the defense of their own country, not to go get their ass shot off if some foreing country for dubious reasons. If they want to sign up because they believe it a worthy cause, then that's great, I admire them for it. However I don't believe the government owns me to the degree that I'll go fight some war for them. If he didn't want to go, I have no problem with that. The underage sex thing, though, doesn't sit well. Not sure I'd put much credence in what Courtney Love has to say though.

I'm looking for his 1st wife's date of birth. It seems Ted was only about 21 when he got married. How old was she, 18,19,20? I'm guessing he was only a couple years older than her.

They were both 22 according to what I found at a couple of places.
