Snowing heavily here in Lander, Wyoming today, there has been 2-3 inches more come down since the photo was taken. Processing the moose meat, got one more hind quarter and the ribs to go, rest of him is in the freezer. Hot biscuits with butter and honey for a snowy Sunday morning, big ol' pot of moose chili simmering on the stove. Will have to go out and shake the snow off the trees after a bit to avoid broken branches, they still have their leaves on. Maybe watch the Broncos win another one this afternoon. Life is good grin

Making moose chili myself today. Went out yesterday to say goodbye to 2 old friends from texas that were up here antelope and deer hunting. They had a grand time even though the deer chose not to cooperate.
Yep, looks just like it does out my back door. grin

Nice.
You live in some good looking country, Scott.

Do you hunt much in your area?
I would imagine you have some good deer and perhaps elk hunting?
Woke up to a couple inches of snow myself, this morning.
Leaving for the annual mule deer hunt later in the week. Love to see the snow.

Thank you, we are stilled thrilled live here every day. I do not now have time to hunt of fish. I work about 60 hours a week and farm all of my free time. wink

I retire in May of 2011 and things will change a lot. I will cut down my work time and only spend 80 or so hours farming and working for my wife and spend the rest of my time hunting and fishing.

There are deer everywhere and elk often come down and lounge in our pasture before the rut. We have had bear in our woods and several occasions.
You sound like a busy man.
Scott, I think you need to work on getting some elk hunting in!
wink
