Les:

Thanks for alerting us to this site. I have already posted the Rem 700 that I'm trying to sell.

KC

Your welcome KC. Les
There's also midwestguntrader.com, which some of my buddies watch very carefully. It might be worth a peek, too.
We have one here in Idaho, zidaho.com. I have bought and/or sold several guns there.

Really good to see one that will be nation wide. I wish them success.

Check here, based in Utah but have Wyoming and Idaho sections also.

Nobody sells anything in Wyoming--they just use it until it's plumb wore out and then throw it in the backyard!..... grin

For Colorado ftf purchases I have used these.

Excellent. We really need this to catch on. Lots of listings from Rochester for all of our members up there.
Thanks b, I didn't know about cologunmarket.com
sweet Les, Thank You for this link.

Just messaged a person looking to buy a rifle I'd like to part ways with. If I can sell ftf locally and get the $$$ I want, no reason to list on Gun Broker, least for this rifle.
Someone pointed out the gun friendly "paypal" that is out there, just thought a good thread to include it.

THANKS for the info/link!

I just looked it over and put it in my favorites or bookmarked area. Maybe I will at last find another 8 inch nickel plated Python like the one I have regretted selling for the past 20 years. Or, more likely, my next pocket pistol which I am searching for now.

Said in a "matter of fact" tone...

Please remember, there are more gun owners in CA than there are people in CO, WY, MT and AK combined. Heck probably could add SD and ND as well.
WOW - SKS's for $350 to $500, no one on that site was able to find a local buyer, and wont find one nationally either.

Agreed. I bought four factory new Russian SKS rifles way back when they first hit the market for $100.00 each. Sold three for over double that, and kept the best of the lot for myself. Nice rifles, but $500.00 is way out there, even for a factory new Russian.

We noticed some traffic from this thread and wanted to answer a few questions and thank everyone for the positive press.

It's not that there's hardly anyone on the site, it's just that it's not as big in some states as it is in others. The states in the midwest have a great deal of activity (OK, KS, OH, MO, TX)

If you do a search of guns for sale in the whole country instead of just one particular state, you'll see that we have 98 pages of listings, which is nearly 2500 listings in that category.

Thanks again for all of the positive feedback, please help us expand into the states where we don't have enough users!

Thanks,
Jon

(Please forgive me if I don't check this thread regularly, I don't have much time to spend on forums anymore. Feel free to email me with any questions or comments.)
Thank You for Armslist Jon.
Looks pretty good for Washington state, just what I need, another place to buy guns.

Thanks for coming on here and making yourself know Jon--we appreciate it.

I hope this takes off and kicks ebay's butt on the hunting and shooting stuff........

So far it's been pretty easy to use.

????

Are you Barkoff's attorney?
i've seen it, linked from here: http://www.riverofguns.com/

the 'google' of gun boards

can be clunky for some sites at times though but useful
New to this site, but have been using armlist locally in OK for about a year. Bought some ammo, traded a couple guns, and sold another. Also have missed out on 2 or 3 really good deals. I check it at least twice a day

We've been growing steadily, thanks for the encouragement.

Keep telling your friends! It's totally free and we intend to keep it that way.
Thanks again for the feedback everyone.

I wanted to let you know that we're currently working on a contest to give away some Woolrich Tactical Elite gear. Check the site for updates.

I like the site--hope it continues to grow.

I heard about your site a couple of weeks ago and I posted a gun for sale right away. Looks like I have a local buyer interested.

Good site.

I'm glad it's working well for you.

You are not the first person to tell me that they've been able find a buyer within a few days. Some people have even told me that they've sold items in as little as a few hours.
Thanks for the kind words. Our Promo Contest that I mentioned a few weeks ago is now up and running.

The winners will receive these Woolrich pants.

Learn more about the contest here:

We haven't had a lot of participation so far in the contest. We're giving away 5 pairs of pants. 3 are easily up for grabs, but realistically, the 2 leaders aren't all that far out in front either, the numbers can be a little misleading.

Sign up if you're interested.

We're going to be doing more contests on Armslist.com in the near future, check back for updates.
We had a GON classified site but dumbasses too stupid to run it and users too stupid to use it.
Come back to www.armslist.com for the next giveaway contest.

On July 1st we're going to start our next contest, the prize will be a Woolrich Elite CCW shirt.

Sign up for an account and use your unique links when you post links to Armslist pages. That's all it takes to win contests. We will probably be running a contest nearly every month for the foreseeable future.

Just like most of the other site like Gun Broker. Many of the prices are laughable.
