All nice hot rods.

I can dig.
Posted By: MackMan Re: Can you see it? - 04/20/10
I put 150 miles on it Saturday, back at the dealer for a week
or so. Finish putting the Roush stuff, that the dealer is
responsible for. The brakes and some suspension stuff.
It's a 5 speed manual w/ traction control. Took it on
a empty I -70. it scared me the first time I got on it.
The short throw shifter, takes some getting used to.
I tried to drive it like my F-150 and killed the engine
at every stoplight. It drives like a dream, and the traction control keeps me from doing anything stupid.
I plan on driving to the pig hunt.
The clearance sucks, the front spoiler hits on every dip.
I'll take it off when I get it home.
It sure sounds mean when you jump on it.
Sure seeing a lot of the GT's and a few Shelbys and saw a
Cobra today in Grand Junction. Talking to the Rouch tech
guy and he said this is the last year with ford said
Ford didn't want to let them have the 5.0 engine to
Roush it.
I think Roush and Shelby will team up to build a car
Both will take about any Mustang and trick it out They
even have a kit for the F-150

Mack Man, exactly how much horsepower does a supercharged 427 Roush produce?

Just for your viewing pleasure..

Roush raises the bar with the introduction of their new 2010 427r Mustang. The base 427R package comes with new suspension, appearance package, and the ROUSHcharged 4.6L engine, which adds up to approximately $14,000 in options. Here is how the options break down:

Did you get a Roush power pack, or is it suspension only? What does the 427R have that the GT doesn't?

edited to add.... never mind, Seefire's post cleared that up.

Can you buy single items from roush that can bolt on, or is all a package?

I can't see ford not giving Roush a motor after more than year or so. Maybe not.

If I had the 30K it took to do it, I'd be getting the Shelby package added...well if I had 30K, I'd get the Mustang first. grin, then the other 30K for Mr. Shelby to do his thing.

I like your car.

We've never had one. My dad had a few before I was around, but never after.

I like them. I have since the 80's when I started to pay attention to that stuff. My favorite has always been the 67, but these new ones a lot. You get great retro looks, more than enough power for "fun" on the street, tons of bolt on's if ya need more, and ya always need more, and the biggest reason....chick dig it.
