So there really is a first time for everything

Bush would become the first player in the 75-year history of the award to have the trophy taken away. The NCAA found major violations in the Trojans football program in June and levied serious sanctions against the school.

Bummer
Heck, its just another thug/criminal athlete getting what he deserves.

The saddest part is that the coaching staff, and the school administration that KNEW this stuff was going on, suffer no sanctions at all. Ever.

In fact a lot of them are now with the Seattle Seadorks with heafty raises.
And the 04 BCS Title? Should USC be eligible to keep it as well?
Or is there a place for cheating in the NCAA?
[bleep] it all!
The NCAA said that if the National Champian title gets taken away it would remain unawarded.
At least cheaters would not be rewarded!

Were I Reggie Bush I'd sell the thing on e-bay straight away.
NCAA should just admit that college football is farm league for the pros and let Reggie keep the trophy.

Maybe he could ask OJ how much he got for his??
He ought to give it to Vince Young .
The whole time Billy Cannon - 1959 Heisman winner - was in prison for counterfitting his was displayed in a local restaurant. I assume he took it back after he got out of prison.
