On another day I told them that I hate letting a half truth stand, and that in truth some of the craters were already there with only the really big ones being mine.

Also just for the heck of it I once fired my 270 straight into the ground. You guessed it that spot is now the only active volocano in WV.

The 270 has sure saved me lots of money by not ever needing to buy any more ammunition after my modification.
Upon firing, a spring-loaded cartridge shoots a 20 inch wooden dowel out the muzzle for about 4 inches. A small flag then unrolls. On the flag it says in large letters "270 Winchester." Deer up to 400 yards away fall in their tracks, DRT.
And, no damaged meat.

My 30-06 is so powerful that I have to be careful when I shoot it Eastward because it will stop the rotation of the earth.

Since its rumered that the earth is round, in the unlikely event you should miss a deer by holding to high with a 270 duck down and get out of the way, the bullet will be back real quick. Also it will have dropped the inch or so for a kill on that monster buck on the next pass.

Almost forgot, Their starting to use the '06 with 220grainers for anistedic in surgery. A quick shot up side the head and they know you will be out for 20 min. or so and wake up with no side effects. I know I can't spell for chit.
