Does this surprise anybody?

No. Waiting for the guy to slip up and praise Allah.
Sorry, but Obama's god is Obama. He does not leave him out of anything.
well,or allah
No surprise....he only has one Thanksgiving address left as president and he is gone.

Doc
Yep he'll be gone alright. But unless the conservative people of this Nation get their act together, the President in 2012 will be Hillary, with Slick Willy as First Lady....

Don't that just make you want to giggle....
Not that I care for the guy, but why fake it like most politicians. Most Americans leave God out of everything......

Glad I'm not one of the "most Americans."

There is no way I could thank God for all He has done for us and bestowed upon us, but it is safe to say that we at least thanked Him before our feast.

Jesus is Lord.

The president said his family was reflecting on how truly lucky we truly are.

For many Americans, though, Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on how blessed and thankful they are.

The president said the most American of blessings is the chance to determine our own destiny.

He called the very first Thanksgiving a celebration of community

Were also grateful for the Americans who are taking time out of their holiday to serve in soup kitchens and shelters, making sure their neighbors have a hot meal and a place to stay, he said. This sense of mutual responsibility the idea that I am my brothers keeper; that I am my sisters keeper has always been a part of what makes our country special.

The president said that belief is one of the reasons the Thanksgiving tradition has endured.

But nowhere in the 11-paragraph address does he mention the Almighty.

The comment of Todd Starnes shows it like it is: typical Marxist rewriting of history. So no, I am not surprised at all.
