Judge Jennine Judy reported on Fox it was strange the judge let the case go to trial before dismissal, when he could have done that before it went to trial from the Pre-trial info he had. She felt it highly unusual the judge prevented testimony by the victims father and sister that the husband insisted she increase her life insurance 5 fold before their trip, and other suspicious acts. The husbands previous dive buddy called the guy a liar when he had said he had no experience in retrieving a drowning person on the bottom when he was an advanced dive instructor.
A number of things don't pass the smell test about the case.

I caught a blurb on the TV news before the judge actually dismissed the case, showing the judge admonishing the prosecutors (outside of the jury's presence) about a lack of evidence. The judge was visibly pissed.

As with a lot of things reported in the MSM, we only have a small piece of the story.
