That is the trouble with granddaughters - they are so dang cute that as a grandparent you're defeated before you even get a chance at the plate.

They could be sittin' in the pile of ashes that used to be your garage, holding the spent sparkler that burned it down, and all you could do is, "would you like a new sparkler sweetie?".

Isn't quite that bad with the grandson, and I had zero hesitation lowering the boom on my kids (girls included), but
there's something 'bout granddaughters.

My granddaughter did not own me until she was about six minutes old. That was the first time I saw her.

We've had 4 cats, all great.
