For those of you who, like me, are so lowly evolved that you possess a television set, which commercials qualify for an instant press of the "previous" button on the remote?

To start things off: (not sure if these are just regional)

any of the Mike Rowe Ford commercials (Please see first signature line.)

the "steak nachos" or whateverinhell they are from Taco Bell

the Chris Berman Applebee's commercials

the Well-Mark one with the little girl who doesn't want to jump into the pool

Commercials come on and I hit mute on the remote and wait them out.

Geico's are bad, but NOT as awful as those damned Progressive Insurance commercials, or locally, the gawdawful KIA ads.

This is one that you can't miss...

Now that is an example of a great commercial.

I wonder who's stupider those who make TV commercials or those who like 'em.

I believe there is a special place in hell for those who write, film or otherwise make commercials.
IIRC, in Dante's Inferno, liars, flatterers and the like had to spend eternity in boiling schit. Mmake roon for those involved in torturing us with those inane stupid commercials.

Pretty much SOP here, cause it seems that ALL commercials are obnoxious. mad

What makes somebody think that I want to buy something after being exposed to senseless noise, usually abrasive, childish, and always too loud?

I can't think of a single time, in my entire life, that I saw a commercial, and said "Damm! I gots to GET me one-a those!" crazy

Automatic ignore when they come on.

I would claim an exemption for our XXXX beer ads.

You really have to wonder what sort of twisted mind came up with this and approved it for release.....

Comfort

Gotta love the Trunk monkey series.

The Trunk Monkey commercials are some of the very best of all-time!

The Ranier Beer commercials back in the 70's were good too.

I don't care about commercials. Just pretty much ignore them. Only time I care is if the kids are in the room and something inappropriate comes on.

Leroy and Billy Bob were looking at a Sears catalog and admiring the models. Leroy says to Billy Bob, 'Have you seen the beautiful girls in this catalog?' Billy Bob replies, 'Yes, they are very beautiful.

And look at the price!' Leroy says, with wide eyes, 'Wow, they aren't very expensive. At this price, I'm buying one.'

Billy Bob smiles and pats him on the back. 'Good idea Leroy! Order one and if she's as beautiful as she is in the catalog, I will get one too.'

Three weeks later, Billy Bob asks his friend Leroy, 'Did you ever receive the girl you ordered from the Sears catalog?'

Leroy replies, 'No, but it shouldn't be long now. I got her underwear yesterday!'

I guess I tune them out. I hear people talk about XYZ commercial and I never heard of it. Every once in a while I'll have the TV on while sitting at the computer and a commercial will end and a few minutes later I'll think "What were they selling?".
I have to admit that I sort of get a kick out of some of the Mayhem commercials but can't remember which car insurance company runs them.

Hasn't been any good commercials since Jax Beer quit.

I don't know how I forgot about the Jack Link's "Acting Like a Jackass with Sasquatch" commercials.
