Right now I like RED. Otherwise known as Retired Extremely Dangerous
Any of the Airplane movies - laughed 'til I cried.

Blazing Saddles too (of course).
Rember Benny Hill?
Big Trouble in Little China.

+1
Super troopers!
Don't just be layin around gettin a suntan...aint gonna do no good noways
Black Dog

Real Genius (pretty much all the 80's flicks from my childhood)

The Toxic Avenger is king of the cheese!!!!
Super troopers is some wierd violent stuff
Galaxy Quest with Tim "the tool man" as the lead actor. Hilarious in my book. After that one comes Weird Al Yankovic's classic 'UHF' CONAN THE LIBRARIAN! We Don't need no Stinkin Badgers! Too many funny lines in that one.

I own Galaxy Quest, been trying to find UHF for my, ahem.... library <G>

Any of Mel Brooks works.

I wouldn't call it violent....

i gotta watch this one now & then. grin
Robin Hood: Men in Tights and Young Frankenstein grin grin
Hot Fuzz
Super Troopers
Major Payne
Kung Pow, Enter the Fist
The flick that stands out for me is "A Knights Tale".
Heavy Metal. 1981 Ivan Reitman film. Animated, rock music, fantasy.
How dare some of you people classify Blazing Saddles as "cheesy"!!!! That is CLASSIC AMERICANA at its best and you need to show some respect! Now can I get a harrumph? grin
I didn't get a harrumph outta that guy...
Ever see Black Dynamite?
The gods must be crazy.
Army of darkness.
The original "Little Shop of Horrors."

Bill Quimby
Groundhog Day, with Bill Murray.

NATIONAL VELVEETA a movie about a young girl and a wild horse. (1944)
Better Off Dead
Clash of the Titans
Night of the Lepus, mainly because it wasn't intended to be cheesy or the spoof on the genre that it turned out to be.
Army of darkness, hmmm as cheesy as Evil dead, but with a bigger budget,a true classic!
+1 on RED, that movie might as well feature my friends and me, as far as personalities go. and you couldn't have asked for a better mix of actors to do understated, downplayed violence. that film is an instant classic.

blazing saddles, whether cheese or not, is still in my top ten of all time.

post gun range cheese, would hafta go to rambo 4. nothing like getting home and smalling like gunpowder, popping that in the dvd player, tucking in a lip of backer, taking apart all my toys, and cleaning them, with a contented smile on my face, to the background of that level of mindless mayhem and cheese. a close second to that would naturally be shooter.

for midieval ass-whoopin' cheese, 13th warrior fills that niche.

and because i am one (of both), any movie that features a bitter, cynical, jaded, burned out cop, or a bitter, cynical, jaded, burned out soldier is gonna be a winner. something like the first die hard, or perhaps the general's daughter, although that last is a bit dark for standard cheese.

for all around awesome cheese, and currently holding most favored movie status, mr. and mrs. smith, which fits comedy, action, romance (cause pretty women with guns is both romantic and pornographic to me), and accurate in terms of how married life can feel at times.

The original "Little Shop of Horrors."

Bill Quimby

The musical "Little Shop of Horrors" with Grammy Award winning music and superstars, like Steve Martin, Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene and other big stars.

Little Shop of Horrors, Downtown
Napoleon dynamite was pretty damn funny and certainly cheesy..

I watched that when I was a lad....scared the living Christ out of me, mainly because I was young, from central Queensland and had never seen a rabbit.

I am downloading it now...thank you.
holy crap i forgot about that, sage!

absolute cheese, but awesome.
Fright Night!!!

How could you forget? One of the most memorable cheesy moments in movie history... smile

that part wasn't. i submit that it was the fight scene. that lasted just this side of forever.
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
They Live............I love that movie.
Galaxy Quest, Spaceballs anyone? smile

Mako you way beat me to the punch on this one! The old lady translating jive was an absolute classic!
The Police Academy movies were a hoot too. Tackleberry always cracked me up.

Blazing Saddles!
I'll second the vote for Big Trouble in Little China starring Kurt Russell.
Tremors would have to be my favorite.
History of the world part 2
saturday the 14th
I cant believe nobody has mentioned:

They call me bruce
Top Secret
two from the 80's that were along the same lines as naked gun, airplane, etc...
I also like Night at the Roxbury.
Lastly, Tango and Cash was bad but good.

I got to shoot a Celebrity Sporting Clays tournament with Leslie Easterbrook (Sgt. Callahan) as my partner (other round I had Irlene Mandrell for a partnerit was a good day). Leslie is a very serious shooter preferring the shotgun sports. She couldnt wait to show me her newly re-stocked Browning BT-99 where Wenig did a fitting, and then make new wood to fit her like a glove. I shot higher than Leslie, but not by much; shes a very good shot, and she shoots very regularly. Hering her call a bird was a treat, it was the Sgt. Callahan voice with a firm PULL!
the old "dean martain spy flicks "were fun & chessey...the little ladys in them ...sure were some spankers btw!
The four Tremors although the fist as usual is the best.

Then ANY Mel Brooks offering.

My #1 would definitely be Monty Python and the Holy Grail but there's a long list of seconds....

Princess Bride
Brady Bunch
Strange Brew
Me, Myself and Irene
Spaceballs

I could go on but..... blush laugh

It may be corny, but it's an important movie. It's full of symbolism for those that understand what they're looking at. Much deeper movie than most people think.

John Carpenter was no idiot.
my kids (& I)have become big fans of Second Hand Lions.
The Producers (2005)
There are too many for just one thread:

Zombieland,
From Dusk til Dawn
Kentucky Fried movie (Particularly the 'Fistful of Yen' segment)
Down Periscope (Best fart scene on film, ever. The fart scene in Blazing Saddles, while classic, isn't even close)
Shaun of the Dead
Repo Man
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (Somebody pass the ketchup!)
So I Married an Axe Murderer
Any of the Austin Powers movies except Goldmember
Pootie Tang

There's got to be more.
Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo

Very cheesy, but makes me laugh just the same, especially the part where he's told his mother was "Bankok Betty".

Haven't seen any mention of Grandma's Boy yet. those that have not seen it... are truly missing out.
The Jerk
Gotta' go with Tremors & sequels, along with They Live. Also add an obscure sci-fi number called Mosquito, explodin' eyeballs & everything!
Frick'n love that movie.

"Ja, za Chinese downhill.......it's the only vay!"

Napolean Dynamite is one of my favs too....
Nearly forgot about Out Cold. Best cheesy movie scene ever!

Spin It!
Roadhouse...
