Seinfeld was less dependent upon context/setting than most sitcoms It was a great satire on the human condition.

I always picture this deputy with a gimpy leg, hobbling across the pavement in ancient Rome, calling out to Mr. Dillonodius.

Seinfeld was funny...Friends was horrible, and truly unfunny.

I've actually used 'Friends' as a gauge to determine a persons intelligence. If they liked it, they're complete morons.

Seinfeld, Cheers and Friends were all good sitcoms. Friends was "too youth oriented" for some of the old guys here.
