In light of the malware incident and Mr. Rick's advice to update browsers, what version of Firefox are you using?
Any problems with whatever is the newest?
NO problems with the latest version, Ver. 18.0.1.
One other thing, be sure to upgrade your Java to Ver. 7u13 which secures the vulnerabilities.
Firefox was blocking ALL Java applets until this latest release because of the security holes in Ver 6 and earlier.

on the 'fire's wisdom, I updated FF. but I got V12. Had to update a second time to bump to V18.
I have FF 18.01 on a Windows 7 platform and never saw a hitch.
Up to date on XP and windows 8. thanks.
There is for Lenux and I am running it. There is also a Firefox Nightly for those bold enough to use it.

How do find out what version?
At the top under HELP, About Firefox.
Thanks, Scott. It worked and I am running that latest version also.

Dry, what is this dry you talk about? I do not remember the word.

Ahhhhh, somehow I just figured the OP was asking about Windows versions, not LINUX since he didn't mention it specifically.

When I posted I did not realize the Windows and Linux had different release numbers. I have Nightly too but do not know if it is available for Windows.

Just took a shower and I think it might have been drier in there than outside.
You have a V 20.0 germinating in the greenhause?
18.0.2 is out today, updating now.
I'll probably leave it alone until 19 or 20 comes out, these fast update cycles make me nuts.
Supposed to fix a bug in the Javascript engine that crashed FF on Facebook for some people.
