What made us great was liberty, the rule of law, government leaving folks alone, sound currency, free markets, etc., etc., but like he said, that's not the case anymore.
perhaps not as great as we once were....but, name a country where you would rather live...and be willing to give up your citizenship to do so....
It seems like we are almost there, at least the part of giving up our citizenship. I am not leaving America for any other country, but to witness it going downhill doesn't ease the pain...

"We had a war on poverty, not a war on the poor." What was the war on poverty?
We lead the world in art!? He praised Government programs and belittled actual liberty. Saying that places like England, Belgium and the likes even come close to experiencing the kind of liberty that we have here.
I thought his rant was the typical liberal mantra. "America sucks"
We may have fallen a long ways, but we are still miles ahead of anybody else in the world in liberty and righteousness.
