Twelve years ago today, I got this belly tube that frees me from being fed intravenously for the rest of my life. Woulda had it a day sooner, but the OR crew had something else, somewhat more important, on their minds that day.

Five days ago was another anniversary that I plumb overlooked � the twelfth since the wee clot in my medulla made me no longer the man who I never was to begin with.

I can't imagine all of that, but know... most of the guys here think that you were/are one hell of a man!

Dumb guys like me rely on the //// you wouldn't.

Much better than the alternative my friend, as long as you have you mind you are good to go.

In about 6 months I'll have the 35th anniversary of my 30th birthday.

In 13 days Judy and I will have our 16th wedding anniversary.
