Is this somewhere in Wyoming and where specifically?

[Linked Image]
Anyone?
Looks like Casper, but I don't recognize the sculptures. I'm basing that on the oil tanks in the background. Cheyenne doesn't have hills that close.
Possibly in front of a Cabelas?

neither does Casper...dang sure isn't Casper nor Cheyenne.
Hmmm?
At this point, I'm guessing it is not in Wyoming.
Me too...its looks more South Dakota-ish in the background....
That's right outside of San Francisco cool
Don't think it's SD and fairly certain it's Wyoming but not positive.
ps: Never seen my avatar right under okok's before, who cares where the damn elk status are wink

not wyoming.
If you put the image into google image search it points to a library of someones vacation in south America.

Good pair! Pun intended.
Not Key West.
Looks like Cabelas in Sidney Nebraska
nope
Not Sidney, if you go to the cabelas website it shows you the sculptures out front of each one. Sidney has 2 bull elk with locked horns.
I'm going to guess Cody, WY, near the Buffalo Bill Historical Museum.
really?
Sure looks like Wyoming to me. I'm thinking those bronzed may have been purchased when Sportsman Warehouse was selling off 1/3 of their stores due to bankruptcy....

Midwest, Lander, Riverton???
There is something very similar in Rapid City SD, Elk Vale road about 1 mile south of I-90. A Gas station has a "wildlife exhibit" across from McDonalds.
Wyoming?
laugh
you guys are fooked up ....it is Indiana

I don't recognize it as Wyoming.

Unless it's in the northeast corner, although the tank battery reminds me of the one off Zero road in Casper, but the country is way wrong for Casper.

I'd guess SD.

No.
I can rule out Buffalo, Sheridan and Gillette.

The list grows shorter.

Baroil....
Close but not quite ...

Jeffrey City.
Forget the sporting goods store thing, that is outside a motel.

And not Jeffery City, too many cars in the picture. And if taken at night, Jeffery City would be glowing.

You know what's funny is the craigslist scams for stuff like boats will have a Ranger boat parked with a mountain in the background or the desert like AZ and say it's for sale locally in Baton Rouge, LA.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!!! I just drove out there and took some more pictures. It's a C-Store with a really nice taxidermy display inside. I was at a little different angle, it's hard to see the tanks.

By the bronze statue of my ex-MIL! eek

Ed
First choice, Aluminum Critters and More in Billings, Mt or

Second choice, Red Rock Sporting Goods in Miles City, Mt

The bull elk was probably made by Aluminum Critters because there is one like it on their website. Just guessing the others were too.
Good and funny thread here!
