I am a 4. Authority made almost all my points. I know there are times people look to me for leadership and in the past there is this other guy inside me that takes command especially in emergency situations. I know what need to be done and I can give orders on how to do it.

I had a job for a number of years where I would come to work at least four days out of five to find a group of people in a panic over some form of disaster and I had seconds to decide what needed to be done and how to do it. That guy inside me would come out and bark orders like Tommy Lee Jones in The Fugitive. My two number two guys told me many times how I would frustrate them by telling them to do the most ridiculous things to fix a problem and how when they did what I told them it always worked.

I do not like that guy who lives inside me and I try to keep him hidden but there have been many times he has gotten loose and saved the day.

It also amazes me that without ever saying a word I am always elected foreman of every jury I have been seated.

It is a curse.

A few years ago, I had occasion to look up the symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. As I thought about it, I thought that the symptoms perfectly described John Kerry.

And Hillary Clinton.

And Bill Clinton.

And Al Gore.

Sounds about right. The only one I scored in any way "high" on was Authority. I got a 3 on that one.

8 for me. If I had taken this when I was about 40-45, I'm sure that my score would have been quite a bit higher--maybe about double. Half of my points came from authority...

The quiz looked more interesting than some thread about a guy freezing his junk off so...Anybody that puts much stock in some Psych quiz is in for a lot of disappointments in life IMO. OTOH I never met so many folks with 140 and above IQ's until I got on the internet. Who'd have known?

I got a 9, there are several questions where both answers are true.

For example...

I am more capable that others. vs There is a lot I can learn from other people.

Both are true, but I suppose the fact that I noticed that doesn't make me a narcissist. I answered the latter but there were about half dozen that could get answered either way in that quiz.

I honestly used to be very worried that I was an extreme narcissist since I didn't seem to have much empathy for anybody.

Then I discovered that everybody else really is second rate and undeserving of my attention anyway, so I felt a lot better after that...
