Everyday, the Catholic Church feeds, clothes, shelters and educates more
people than any other organization in the world.

The new Obama Health Mandate could end all this and the tax payers would
have to make up the loss.

Also, all Catholic adoption services would come to an end; a human
disaster.

There are more than 77 million Catholics in this country. It takes an
estimated 50 million Catholic votes to elect a president. I am asking all of you
to go to the polls in 2014 and be united in replacing all Senators and Reps
with someone who will respect the Catholic Church, all Christians, and all
Religions with the exception of Islam.

You are 100% wrong we are a Christian Nation founded on Judeo-Christian values allowing all
religions in America to Worship & Practice Freely. Something Islam will never do.

Agreed...FWIW, in years past I've seen some highly regarded Lutheran K-6 schools. In recent years, I'm not aware of how well they've held up. It's not easy.

You are right I shouldn't have used "it". I should have said voluntary communal living may have been voluntary at the time but like many things, voluntary communal living morphed into forced communal living (socialism).

I was wheeling a cart full of dirty food trays down the hallway from the cafeteria to the kitchen, at Immaculate Conception School - when I heard JFK had been shot.
I thought then, and still believe, my fellow Catholic's would canonize JFK in a heartbeat. I think that solidified the Democratic majority in the Church - and continues to this day.

When thinking presidential politics it is wise to remember a large portion of the Catholic Community in America is Latino.

Unfortunately most American Catholics are like most American Jews in that when they vote their secular desires come way before their religious convictions.

That seems to be the case with most religious people.

I come from a large German Catholic family, my Fathers family was 11 kids, and I have over 75 cousins on my Dad's side, and another 30 on my Mothers. The last Democrat my Dad voted for ( rest his soul) was JFK, and he said till the day he died, he was the last one worth voting for! Of the entire bunch of my cousins, there is not more than 6 libs in the bunch. Ditto for the other Catholic families in the area I grew up in. Don't think the Democrats have as strong of following in the Catholic church as you seem to believe!
