At some point, human populations will decline. There may not be much anyone can do, wealthy, privileged, poor, undeveloped or not. It will all depend on what the cause is. Whatever happens, there will likely be strife and conflict. Does that mean we should reverse human development as we know it.....stop industrialized development, stop advanced healthcare, stop improving housing, stop transportation development, disband cities........?

Kerry is worried about maintaining control. If it is as catastrophic as it might possibly be, those now in control will be lose it. It won't be pretty. Those who adapt best will be among the survivors.

I do not think "blame" is the operative word here. I think the powers that be figured they had to find something that wealthy countries produced, that could be taxed. Industrialization does produce carbon. Viola! Little matter that carbon levels do not actually drive temperature. You can obscure that by statistical minutia that makes it hard to decide WHAT the results are. The important thing is to punish successful, industrialized nations (particularly the great Satan - the USA) by taxing them heavily on that industrialization. Sure worked in the USA! Industry is essentially gone, and the resultant unemployment has created a new class of people dependent on the government. The "green " movement was and is, very well supported by the Communist movement, and is used as a tool to break the economy of the USA. Looks like it worked beautifully.

This was written about an article in Breitbart News, 10 lefty lies about flooding. FauxScienceSlayer is a retied Scientist.
One 'mistake' is water vapor is a WARMING 'greenhouse' gas. Water covers 70% of the planet and when warmed by the Sun it evaporates, removing massive surface heat by Latent Heat of Vaporization. Water vapor rises, condenses into droplets releasing Latent Heat of Condensation at altitude and forming clouds, which contribute to the 30% of sunshine that is absorbed or reflected by the atmosphere, therefore COOLING the Earth before the Sun can warm the Earth. Eventually clouds get too big and then dump tons of COOLING rain, hail, sleet of snow from above to COOL the Earth again. Since water vapor and CO2 both absorb InfraRed energy in the same spectrum as emitted by Earth, these three atom gas molecules are claimed to have 'magic' warming ability, visible only on computer spread sheets.
Review the "Kiehl-Trenberth Radiation Balance Chart" where the claim is made that the Earth receives 168 watts/square meter of full spectrum energy from the Sun, but 332 WATTS/SQURE METER from "magic gas" reflections of a tiny Earth spectrum radiation. The correct Earth science is under the Publication tab at Principia Scientific International. Be skeptical of over paid, under trained, bobble head professors with their peer/pal reviews of an echo chamber false hypothesis. Find and share Truth....it is your duty as an Earthling.

It is all about control and not about benefiting citizens. If it were, they would be trying to come up with ways to encourage people to have fewer babies later in life. That would reduce the number of people they say are causing climate change.

Instead, they encourage young girls to have as many children as they can as early in life as they can. This makes the population increase rapidly. They keep these people subsidized so they are slaves to the state and will always vote for their masters.

Actions speak louder than words. Liberals have no shame.

I think that you guys need to read the entire Kerry speech. It is much worse than what is cited above.

He basically does the Alinsky thing--take what your critics have said, turn it upside down to the truth--and use it back against them to put them on the defensive. Of course, since it is completely false at that point, there is no "defense."

He then equates climate change science with "belief/disbelief" and uses religious language as its basis for power. This of course came after he visited the largest mosque in the world to pay his respects to its adherents.

He also seemed to implicitly threaten those who refuse to believe in his version of climate change. Overall, it was a very spooky speech.

It's not just global warming. It's anything they need to further their agenda.
