I'm a hard core thru and thru Redwing fan but today in the first period of todays game I've seen something I've never seen before in NHL hockey! More than a couple of times these young rookie wings would foil St.Louis at something and make a great play and as the whistle would blow a St. Louis player would skate by and pat the Detroit player on the back and appear to say great work kid!

That's some high class sportsmanship right there!!!!!! I've never seen that before! I have a whole new respect for St. Louis!! What a class act those guys are!

St Louis fans are the politest in the USA... it rubs off on the players.

Folks in MO impressed the heel out of me with their hospitality to GIs way back in the early 60s. I never saw the like anywhere else in the US.
