This was suspected all along. Now the "gas" is out of the bag.

What a surprise..............NOT.
EPA rules and regs follow a political agenda of the left.
Typical of the liberal left.....just lie.
They don't need justification. Congress gave them carte blanche to make any rule they want. Same with HHS.
Quote
EPA admits they cannot justify many regulations.

Who knew
They are admitting the obvious, to get it out of the way. Now they can openly and aggressively pursue any agenda that they want, rather than hiding behind the environment.
EPA cannot, even, justify its own existence.
EPA relied on TWO studies by "independent" researchers that showed increased mortality in persons exposed to PM2.5's... but the raw data isn't available to them. Hmmm. Sounds fishy.

Especially when two more recent studies, which were peer-reviewed and published studies (totally transparent) contradict the previous two studies:

There is no significant association of PM2.5 with longevity in the west of the United States,Young and Xia noted, adding that our findings call into question the claim made by the original researchers. (See young080113.pdf)

Another recent study by Johns Hopkins-trained biostatistician Steve Milloy that attempted to duplicate EPAs findings also found no correlation between changes in ambient PM2.5 mortality and any cause of death in California between 2007 and 2010.
If congress would reel in regulatory agency rule making, we might enjoy a little gridlock. ;-{>8
sadly enough though, even if we DO get a Republican President in 2016, it will be a RINO, that will continue to let the EPA run amuck.
Let's face it. We need to get rid of:

EPA
HHS
IRS
Education
There's more but this would be a good start.

Yes and can anyone calculate the cost to businesses and the consumers all these rules and regulations are responsible for?
Just look around and see all the things the government has mandated. Yes, some are good but many others are the result of poor and agenda driven socialists.
HUGE problem in this country is the passing of sweeping legislation by Congress and the delegation of administrative authority to unaccountable,non-elected bureaucrats.

Then, like petulant children, they stonewall Congress for two years and force issuance of a subpoena to extract information they don't even have.... confused

They should all be locked up.

A college professor told me back in the 60's that the greatest threat to individual and business freedom in this country would be the unfettered regulatory power of the Federal bureaucracy. He was right.

These agency's have regulated a lot of jobs out of the USA and handed them to the Chinese.

Consistently I ask our Congresspersons why they allow these damaging messes and do not clean them up and either they will not answer or give lame replies - even the one good guy. It is sickening.
