Just have to pass a test, you don't have to be smart.
Yeah, I'm gonna forget I have a full tilt M16 in the safe.... wink
Yea,,, something don't smell right.
I've discovered a rifle I didn't know I had bought. How do you forget a Win 70 Super Grade?
Good faith exception.
Lots of our .gov chitt gets lost that way, especially money and valuable stuff.,

I made a good living for 21 years finding money the Army lost.

Yea I lost my blue pills, too.
He was hoping they would forget.
Yeah - but "The Warden" found it, anyway!

Kinda reminds me of what Danl. Boone said, 'I've never been lost but I have been confused for several weeks'.

Well, we'll call it the "Eric Holder" defense, if he admitted he KNEW it was there (which I'm SURE he did), he would have been up for some charges. But, if he just "forgot" about a "borrowed" weapon, well, it's just a simple oversight/misunderstanding.

It's ok, there are 300,000 +/- New Yorkers that "forgot" that they have AR
-15s in their safes too.

I wonder if "I forgot" will work for my next speeding fine.

Think that might work for my wife?
Hasn't worked on mine.
The last time I moved I found an aluminum gun case in the attic I didn't remember I had and still can't remember when I bought it.
It's Davis County Utah...pretty much answers that...
I once lost a redhead in a bar, but what the heck-I found a better blonde!
I buy so many i'm always forgetting what i own.with 3 safes is very easy to do.
I have a nice pre 64 M70 Std. 257 Roberts that doesn't get shot much. Guns goin' in, guns goin' out.

Ocassionally it gets "lost" and I go into panic mode. laugh

Denny.

BTDT, not a SG but an old Remington Speedmaster 22LR. smile

No, but I did have a close friend swear up and down he returned a rifle to me that hadn't.

I wasn't mad in the least because I know he is a very honest man. When he found out the he still had my rifle he was sooooo embarrassed.

We both had a good laugh and still do to this day whenever we remember it.
Mine seem to multiply without my knowledge grin
Wish I had a 20 dollar bill for every time "The Warden" has asked - "Where did this one come from?"
