Leave it to the son of a bitch hussein obama (and I mean that literally - his mother was a bitch/commie!) to delay (AGAIN!) any decision on allowing the Keystone Pipeline project to go forth!
What a scumbag, turd, anti-American, socialist son of a bitch hussein obama is.
Conveniently, this turd, announces he will delay any decision on Keystone until after the upcoming elections!
Even some demonrats in the United States Congress are scrambling this Easter weekend over this incoherent and anti-American stance by hussein obama and his deceitful, divisive regime.
I almost wish hussein obama was running again for something so I could vote against him again.
Scandal after scandal after scandal compounded by deceit, distortion and divisiveness - how hussein obama remains in office is another sign of worry for me, over the future of this country.
Sad.
This country needs energy and honest efforts of a pro-capitalist leader to get out of this mess and malaise we are in.
I see NONE of those things coming from hussein obama in the next 2 1/2 years.
Hold into the wind

They been trying to get it open since 2008. Guy can drag his feet. Serves only one purpose for him. They can raise more money from the environmentalists so long as he can control all the people that have to "approve" it. Obviously he can. It won't get any better unless the next republican pres (if there ever is one) doesn't CAN everyone in any kind of regulatory position and then shut the agency down.
LOL varmintguy, how do you really feel about zero? I couldn't agree with you more. wish there was a set of balls somewhere in Washington to take a stand against the unlawful regime that is destroying this country.
Don't forget that as long as this is delayed, the oil gets moved by railroad which is owned by Obama supporter Warren Buffet.
Nothing lasts forever. We're not doing things the way we did 200 years ago. Anyone still using a whale oil lamp? How's the outhouse holding out. Your city still dumping raw sewage in the river that runs through your town? Environmentalists are modern day Luddites.

What is wrong with energy independence? Are we forever to suck up to Hussein's muslim buddies? Fracking and the Keystone pipeline will put us on a firmer energy footing, create useful jobs, how many community organizers will it take on everyone's tax dollar to turn the economy around? Yeah right! We could wean Europe away from depending on the good will of Russia to provide oil and natural gas. Tell Venezuela to upstuff asswards their oil. How many more Solyndra fiascos or dotting the landscape with whirleygigs will it take before people start waking up.

Things such as failure to okay the Keystone Pipeline are deliberate acts to diminish our standard of living and place in the world.
Not only is it killing America but it is providing more control of people which obama wants. That is why 50 some departments of the government have been arming and buy armored vehicles. Government will achieve the control they want through multiple avenues. The America we had before is gone and slipping farther away each day with each law passed by executive order/congress.
Our tyrannical emperor is siding with his environmental base. He is afraid of losing their support with the vote and with dollars. Right now the socialists are having their time with the Country. The American people and the economy will continue to suffer and show a tepid GDP growth until the 2016 election. The ACA will continue to be a huge drag on economic growth. Wait until the 2015 insurance premiums are announced!
If the emperor approves of Keystone, it will be shortly after the 1014 midterms, so the uproar from the enviro-wackos can die down before the 2016 cycle.
If Hillary wins, then bend over and kiss your backside goodbye.
As I understand the issue, the Nebraska supreme Court is considering a suit affecting the routing of the Keystone Pipeline; until the Court rules, it would be premature to issue the permits. If the Nebraska Court orders a re-routing, it would cause even more disruption if construction began under the current situation.
Agreed VG, and glad to read you using all lower case letters to describe the gay commie muzlim kenyan.

Gunner

Greens want Obama to say "no" to Keystone. He delays.

Everybody else wants Obama to say "yes." He delays.

Either way, left or right, it's a betrayal of everyone.

Wrong. The reason they need approval from the White House is because the pipeline crosses an international boundary. The route of the pipeline inside the borders of the US is handled by acquisition or leasing right of way by the pipeline company. The Nebraska court case is a red herring.
Besides the three landowners in Nebraska alleging wrongdoing, be certain that they are getting assistance from environmental groups and their attorneys. Undoubtedly the Center for Biological Diversity is involved.
Remember that Keystone is the priority for the anti's to stop. Coal is their second goal and the EPA is helping them with proposed new particulate limits.
Elections matter.

zero is a mooseslime....you expected any help from him? Get the book "Because They Hate" by Brigette Gabriel...then you will understand
Lord knows we have never built a pipeline in the U.S. wink

That Keystone must be especially harmful... wink

DITTO - IN SPADES!!!
I agree with what has been said. I would like to add that the Bakken oil field production has the railroads overworked and backlogged:

"OIL TRAINS SLOWING DOWN OTHER TRAINS

(Wall St. Journal 3/13/2014, thanks to Paul Scheible)

A major snarl in railroad traffic is ricocheting through the supply chains of businesses across the U.S., causing delays and losses for shippers of goods ranging from coal to sugar. Although many railroads are involved, much of the problem originates with pileups at BNSF Railway Co. where it is shipping crude oil from North Dakota's booming Bakken Shale region. The railroad was already taxed by the heavy demand for oil transport but its difficulties multiplied when it ran out of locomotives and crew as a bitter winter forced it to use smaller trains and they were also hit with a larger than expected grain harvest. This caused a ripple effect across the country as shipments have been delayed. Deliveries of empty grain cars to farmers and grain elevators in the Midwest and Great Plains are running about two to three weeks late, the railroad says. Coal-fired power plant inventories are running much lower than the usual 30 days. "The railroads tell us they aren't serving power plants until their inventories are in single-digit days," said one power company executive. The backlogs could wind up costing shippers hundreds of millions of dollars, says Steve Sharp, president of Consumers United for Rail Equity, a group representing agriculture companies, manufacturers and utilities. Andrew Walmsley, director of congressional relations for the American Farm Bureau Federation, worries that continued capacity problems could hurt U.S. competitiveness in the world arena. BNSF is leasing and buying locomotives by the hundreds and hiring new crews. In mid-February, it took the unusual course of building new track on top of frozen snow-covered ground along its main oil-patch route. Some shippers, eager to move their products, have opted to use trucks. Trucking rates compare with rail costs within a 500-mile radius, but beyond that companies can wind up paying four to five times as much on a per-ton basis, says one shipping official."
OBama and his entire administration need to be prosecuted for TREASON to this country.... and followed by ALL of his supporters...

He, nor his administration care an ounce of anything good for this country... all they care about is 'Whats in it for themselves' individually.... it is the most corrupt administration in this nation's history....

most 'democrats' aren't democrats at all.... they are Communists posing as American Politicians...support only by brain washed masses, who have no desire to see this country succeed... all they want is more welfare and not having to put in an effort for their own daily upkeep....

If Obama were a decent American, he would approve the pipeline and join in a "friend of the court" lawsuit against the plaintiffs. There are many precedents for this.

The people building the pipeline would hold off committing $$$ until the court decides the issue anyway. What business is that of the .gov?

Remember gasoline cost $1.89 when Obama started his first term and as of yesterday I paid $3.75.

Obama is a liar and is not a decent human being. I am amazed that the "sheeple" put up with him.
He's not an American.
IndyCA35: You said it SO well and so concisely: "Obama is a liar and is not a decent human being. I am amazed that the "sheeple" put up with him".
Amen to your words of wisdom!
I to am amazed.
I fear for the future of this country.

Seafire: You are so spot on with your observation about obama being prosecuted for treason to this country!
It seems like so many in this country only vote in an effort to obtain more and more government benefits and handouts.
Shortsided, that socialistic motivation is.
And indeed, it is sad, what the demonrat party has turned into of recent (past 30 years).
I do know this, if hussein obama gets one more of his pro-communist, anti-American judges appointmented to the United States Supreme Court this country is LOST!
The lesson is, be careful who we vote for, I guess?
Impeach hussein.
Hold into the wind

Amen and case closed!

The ripple effect is amazing. Oil moves on the rails, supplanting the grain and seed harvests, increasing prices for food commodities, whether human or animal. We're already seeing 19% increases in food prices in 2014.
WyColoCowboy: Indeed food prices are just stunningly expensive of recent.
Part of the recent increases are directly related to increased fuel and transportation costs.
And these recent food and fuel price increases are directly attributable to hussein obama's policies and his greenassed supporters and co-regime members and the majority of demonrat politicians.
We reap what has been sown!
Impeach hussein.
