Sweet!! I'm gonna be rubbin iron sulfate on my apex now!
Apex is the best lure ever made. grin
I fish the Fraser. They never opened the sockeye season this year that I know of. Made two trips up for springers, had to turn loose all the reds. Years ago it was a meat run. Not this year.

This post reminds me of two truths.

1. Don't believe everything you read.
2. Never trust a wagon burner.

Unless I missed it, they never said the season opened in the Fraser. Just said how many fish they figures were in it.

Either way, I'd heard of this "experiment. " Don't surprise me at all if hippies get riles up over it. The basic premus of the article is correct. The seek to limit human activity. The health of any species is not their major concern
The water was neon green here last summer. Fishing was outstanding.
Oops, I must be enemy #1 since I raise millions of them every year.

How was the PSP?
Didn't hear much about it.
Interesting stuff, thank you for sharing.
Only 120 tons? That's four truckloads at most.
And the fact of most oceanic water being nutrient poor is not disputed at all, that such a tiny amount of goop should do something so crazy is phenomenal.
The experiment should be repeated.
