Golden Corral will do in a pinch.

I'd make a lasagna, throw it together and you can eat off it for the entire week.

I always found doing without other things was more of a problem to have around than finding food with the wife out of town.

The kids refer to that place as "The Gilded Trough" !

We got a Golden Corral and another trough called Old Time Buffet.. A feller could actually hurt his self in the Old Time trough. I have to limit my visits there or wife and doc will be pissed at me.

Normally when wife leaves me, she don't leave me without... but I talked her out of it this time.. don't bother to cook for me, said I, I'll be fine. Bullshit!

To add insult to injury, she called a bit earlier and told me about the 5 star place she just dined at.

Look Geo brown a lb of hamburger meat w/medium chopped onion. Drain...add two cans rotel chopped tomatoes w/those little green things and a large can of ranch style beans plus Tbs of chili powder...stir 20 minutes on medim high. This will hold you till Momma gets home. Takes 20 minutes to make and 2 days to eat. powdr
