I took my wife to Johns Hopkins last Thursday and she has stage 4 kidney disease. She was stage 3 Two years ago last Feb. and the kidney specialist she was seeing here didn't tell her to quit taking Nexium and didn't stress how serious this is. She is going back next month for an interview for a transplant and in Oct to see the doctor again and attend a dialysis seminar. For me this is a 5 alarm prayer request because I know prayer works and I'm calling in the big guns everywhere!!!
Thanks in advance.

Dave, I am very sorry to hear about your wife's condition. Prayers immediately said, and she will be on my daily morning conversation with the Lord.
Your Wife and yourself have my prayers without question. You have always been there for me, and I am here for you anytime you or yours need anything.

Prayers of relief and healing offered Sir as well as prayers of strength & comfort for you.
Thanks so much. I'm asking for prayers everywhere I can! When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2010 you guys were there for me and I'll never forget it! This is hitting me hard because it's someone else and one I love dearly. I guess it's easier to accept things if it's you.
Tanks again to all.
Dave
I just got back from WV 2 hours ago, but I'm sending prayers back there immediately.

I just fired a volley of prayers for her.

Call when time permits.

My heart is with you.
Dave, I took my mom on an emergency trip to Mayo this past May. She had slipped from Stage III to Stage IV. Their head Neph. said it was a combo of dehydration and the meds she was taking. Hydrated and off the meds her numbers returned to "normal", which is that we lose 1% of kidney function per year after 50. She's 80 so her kidney function should be at 50%. Her numbers after losing the meds and hydrating are 48%...right where they need to be! No more talk of dialysis.

I hope your wife's situation turns out to be the same. Johns Hopkins is THE place to be. Good on ya and sending good thoughts your way!

Thanks again to all! This will be a long journey as I learned in aviation when flying through a storm because you have no choice is to pick your best path, hang on, and pray! We have faith and know it's in God's hands.
Sent from NM, may God bless you both.

Yes! And God's plan is always the best for us because of His unconditional love. Hang in there.

Prayers up. Happened to me when taking Vasotec, one of my heart BP meds.
Nephrologist identified the problem, took me off the med and along with many prayers, my kidney function went back to normal.
I share those prayers..

Sent, God bless you all!
Thanks again for the prayers and kind words. If you met my wife you wouldn't guess she has the health problems. She's taking it better than me but I guess that's normal.
Dave
Dave in WV's wife, my Stepmother, is one of the finest people I've had to pleasure to know. It's even more of an honor to say family. My Stempom has been for me and my sisters through hell and back and is one of the most selfless, giving persons I have ever known. God, skip over me and watch over her.
Prayers sent.
