Just need the bow and a couple beers HH.
Please let us know how it turns out. I rarely eat any meat besides wild game and we have quite a bit of venison. I have not tried it on the grill yet.
Funny, I'm throwing on my hunting clothes right now and going to drive about 15 minutes up the road to hunt bucks....silly me. crazy
Harry I hate to break it to you but that is a pine cone by your spatula...it ain't gonna be very tender eek

I'm sorry, but when you said venison on the grill, first thing that came to mind......

In AR that isn't a legal buck. Ha! They can take heart though because there is better meat on that grill than there is in that Mickey D's!!!!

slow cooker, 6 hours on low, with pot roast seasonings, is way better, IMO.

This.

Football roasts only go into the crock pot.

Patrick, This sounds much better. ..and easy, too.
Try marinating it in zesty Italian dressing over night before grilling, gives it a different flavor.

I've done both roasts and steaks with this method.
Bone-in Shoulder roast.
Injected with Creole Butter Cajun Injector Marinade.
Rubbed down with Cajun Shake.

Layered the bacon on the outside and smoked over indirect heat (with water pan)around 225-250* for a few hours.

Juicy and tender as can be. Just doesn't get much better than that!

Sounds great. It's funny how many of us like venison if we can just change the flavor. LOL. Oh well, it's healthy and it's not full of the steroids and hormones.

BTW, I really like your avatar!
Looks great. How long on the grill.

Don't draw yet because that deer just a little to the left and out in front of the grill will bust you. See it?
