Is that a rubber raft that inflated? The raft looks okay and a little buffing will make the plane a-okay.

No chance at repairing the plane? I mean military aircraft get shot full of holes and they repair them and make them flyable.

Big difference between patching holes in skin and major structural damage. If you look at the picture it looks like the stringers in the roof got bulged upwards.

Look at the photo with the raft removed. Roof stringers broken, door frame broken, cargo door ripped off...

'Fraid that one's for the salvage yard.

So they have had a raft of accidents?

Truly an "OH CRAP" situation.

It's become common practice anymore to use airbags to lift and move heavy machinery, air bags of any type inflating can do one hell of a lot of damage also!
