Hanoi Jane should have been hung from an oak tree and her rotten remains left there still.
I've met two Vietnam era POWs, CAPT USN Gordon Nakagawa and CDR USN Everett Alvarez, impressive men, humble.

I met Navy Captain Nakagawa while stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA, he was introduced to me as a former POW to which Captain Nakagawa added "twice... Once in my own country". He was a wonderful man, friendly and witty.

Mr. Alvarez is another truly impressive man, I still see him on occasion at Christmas parties.

For me, seeing and speaking with these men is a humbling experience.

My father was MIA/POW WWII,Lost him last year.
soli.....i'm sorry to hear of your Dad's passing.
I hope you have many good memories of him.
