All,
My first cousin's wife Melanie has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. They believe it has been caught before it entered the lymp system. She is the mother of 3 fine boys and I doubt the Lord has made a sweeter girl in all the world. She is 42 years old and otherwise in good health, but the doctors have recommended removal of both breast because her younger sister has also had breast cancer in recent years. She is devastated and afraid at the same time but is going forward with the surgery today. Please pray for her during this tough time, for healing, and that the removal will clear her of cancer completely. My cousin Dale and his wife Melanie are both strong believers and trusting the Lord, but prayers are much appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark in GA
Prayers from here.
My mom and mother in law both survived breast cancer in their late 30's and early 40's.
She, and all she loves, have mine.
Prayers said for Melanie, her husband, her family, the Doctors, nurses and technicians that will work to treat her.

Prayers sent for Melanie, docs, nurses, and all her peeps.
many prayers were lifted up on behalf of my wife when she underwent a similar ordeal during 2013
it's my honor to do the same for your Melanie
it's a bumpy road to travel
but often there's daylight at the end of the tunnel.
God shined his light on my wife both during and after her ordeal.
I'm praying he does the same for Melanie.
truly wish her the best.
we also did some alternative treatments while my bride was doing the chemo and radiation, if you'd like any info on that stuff feel free to pm me.
P.S. not everyone at the 'fire believes in God, but even many of those guys that don't have that faith offered encouragement and kind thoughts. Those were appreciated along with the prayers that the faithful offered up.
prayers said for her and her family.
You've got 'em from here, Mark.
God's healing and peace. Amen.
She, and all she loves, have mine.
Mine, too.
Mark,
I am a breast cancer survivor and went through surgery and subsequent treatment. ..plus another preventative surgery at the end of March of this year. I understand what she is going through and will be praying for her until I know she is o.k. I'm praying for her family as well. God is in control. He brought me through and he will do the same for her. Do you know if she has had any genetic testing done for BRCA1 and BRCA2?
Prayers throughout the day.
Praying here as well? God is good!
Been down the BC road with "The Warden"
God healed her, using some fine medical personnel.
Our prayers go out for a full and rapid recovery - may you both be as blessed as we are!
Hang on tight - the ride ain't easy!
I'm not sure about the genetic testing, but within 2 years both her and her younger sister have had breast cancer. I don't know if it was exactly the same type or not.

Mark,
I prayed for Melanie and the family.
Tell her that Wade in Washington sends his best--she'll beat it!!
Prayers of strength, comfort and fast, problem free healing.
Prayers from just down the road..
Prayer sent. Take her to Johns Hopkins! My next door neighbor's mom had it and the local docs wanted to do a double mastectomy. They took her to Johns Hopkins and they said that was over kill and removed the lump and a few lymph nodes. She had a few radiation treatments locally and she's fine!
Said a few words for all.
