It's a bit early for us to go sub-zero here in New Mexico
(other than the high country)
it was freezing cold here in phx this morning. cellphone says 51, but my outside thermometer says 38.
We have the electric blankets on. Williams is 20, and prescott 22.

GTC
Not as low as most but the front is moving through my area now. It was 56F when I woke up...it was ~52F when I got to work 2 hours later and it is ~45F now. The mercury is supposed to drop all day/night and it forcasted to be 29F tomorrow morning. We will pick up a few degrees tomorrow and then back into the mid 20's tomorrow night. That is COLD for anyone living on the gulf coast....the humidity here just magnifies it.
A balmy 19 F here
Just a smidge above 0 here this morning...
Clear, calm, sunny morning here in Oregon at 22F.
It's gotten cold and stayed cold here which is unusual for this time of year. We got a total of about 4" of snow and it's not melting.
18 degrees this morning but it's supposed to get into the 40s (daytime temps) for the next week or so.
Not too bad here but it's very early for us to have snow on the ground and the skies looking this gray.
I've having to adopt my "winter-time" mentality about a month earlier than usual and spring arrived about a month late this year,...so,....
It's going to be interesting to see if I can make it to April without any strait jackets getting involved.
Be damned if I don't hate winter. I honestly don't know how you people up north deal with it.
Was 8 overnight and made it up to 12 today, only about 30 below normal. 33 by Sunday, only 6 below normal. Heat wave!
+4F an hour ago... Piece of cake..
Lets keep those keyboards bundled up people!
Bristoe's post makes me recall the old Paul Bunyan tale, "The year of the two Winters"
When spring should have arrived, winter started all over again.
32 this morning and should be in the mid 20s tomorrow morning.
It was 3 above when I left for work this morning. She's a balmy 12*F now.
I can't remember the last time I wore base layers in November! I bet there's a run on thermals, cuddle-duds, and silk underwear. Buurrrrr! I woke up to freezing fog with a stagnant air advisory.
I mowed my yard in between the cold spells Sunday[made it to near 50]. I don't recall having ever seen the grass this green after we have hit single digits in temps before.
+4 at 6:30 AM. Now +48 at 1:10 PM.
thought we were gonna see nipples, wind chill 27F
