Guns are tools and do nothing until people use them.

Why is there no attempted ban on the automobile? There is not even an amendment singled out regarding the right for transportation. In recent years, the number of drunk driving deaths and the number of firearms-related homicides has been roughly the same. Why are liberals afraid of me owning a gun and ammunition, but not afraid of me owning a car and a beer?
