so if you get behind on house payments in FL and the bank robocalls you to get caught up....you deserve a million bucks?

This country gets more screwed up everyday by liberals....where did personal fiscal responsibility go?
What's a house payment?
The Coniglio's are simply living the American Dream grin

More people move to that clusterphuck of a state and expect it to be cheap to live and so they go overboard with their home and automobiles et etc ...5 years go by and they blow thru their retirement and don't have a pot to piss in .
the only good thing is that it is BoA.

You didn't get the memo, Keith. "Personal Responsibility" has been eliminated in its' entirety.
I agree with the judgement.

Well not quite... smile

Looks like the case never was heard on the merits.Seems BoA missed a filing deadline and defaulted,so the judgement was based on a procedural faux pas.

Oh well, even big banks drop the ball now and then. Looks like they will have to pony up LOL!

Right down the same hole liberals crawl out of every day.

Someone at BoA lost their job. What made me laugh is the guy is/was a drug runner on top of it and still couldn't pay his house off.
Not the first time BoA screws up in Florida:

story just keeps getting better .... orange do you still support the judgement and please explain.

Nelson and Joyce Coniglio received 700 collection calls from the bank over a four year period, the New York Post reports.

The calls went on for 4 years. If they were really behind on the payments the bank could have had them out of the house in 60 days.

Something else going on here and it looks like the bank, or at least the collection agency they hired, screwed up and is paying the price.

I do, and I work in collections. If this really went on for 4 years it's likely 3 or 4 collection agencies were calling these folks in that time. Still - if someone says stop calling their work or cell phone, there are laws that say you must stop calling. Usually the account would get pulled from agency A and sent to Agency B at that point and they would have to go through the whole "do not call" thing all over again, but 700 calls with an attorney retained is just retarded.

BoA is a POS, but in reality I seriously doubt anyone will lose their job over this. I also doubt BoA will ever pay, but that's a different story.

Mines been paid for for a while.

If the rumors are correct they are holding a horrendous amount of toxic real estate.

I prefer to not pay the 4% and earn the 15%. But, hey, wtf do I know?
BOA is the worst bank in the country and has [bleep] up more foreclosures than probably any other 2 banks combined.

The problem is BOA doesn't pay for their incompetence, taxpayers do. BOA was one of the largest recipients of the Government bailouts.

there's at least 5 or so correct posts on the first page alone

that's all I read, didn't go to page 2, but I like the fact there's so many sharp folks that post here
I sorta thought this was the key to the article
