Wow. Bud Light is the best seller as I would have guessed. Sampled several micro brews that Bud is distributing, and the Rahrs Ugly Pug Black Lager is impressive. They're coming out with a tequila flavored beer with the skull on the bottle and blue or black eyes on the other side that is really cool. Good beer. And the Shock Top Chocolate Ale was surprisingly good.

My school field trips were never this good. It sounds like you had a good time.

Bud and bud light are fine for me. But I get the same as you from Miller Light or Coors light. But Keystone is fine... go figure.

Has only to do with how certain ingredients affect each person.

Half can of Miller light and I'm done. I can drink a can of Coors light, but thats about it.

Funny, I get the headache from Coors Light........Bud Light no sweat.

Hate to guess how much Bud Light I drink in a year.

My wife and I have been drinking Bud's Select Lite 55 cal beer. It's weak, true, but a can only has 55 cal and we both need that. Its not bad when you get over the craving for a solid slug in the gut.

Coors Light here. When I am at the northern place it's Kokanee. Bud thumps my head as well. Have a couple of buds that can drink that chit warm. Pull up at the house with a twelve pack each and sit in the yard with it and shoot the chit as it warms.

The lightest beer I like is Yuengling Traditional Lager, then it is Guiness, Yuengling Black & Tan then Amber Bock.

Cannot stand the light beers, bitter to my taste buds.

If they stopped selling Bud Light around here the local economy would collapse.

I think the 1 major gas station in town sells more beer than any other store in the state, town of about 3k or so it made the news.


Maybe it was most AB of any store, they sell a huge amount of Bud products.

No Bud Light, Coors etc for me. It's swill. 30 years ago it was hard to find a decent beer in the US. Today with all the "craft beers" you can find good beer most anywhere. And it's share of the beer market continues to grow. My local favorite is an amber ale called "Fat Tire". Colorado leads the nation with most micro breweries per capita which is fine by me. Make mine a pint.

The Southeastern United States very consistently ranks low (regardless of the size of the state; all Southeastern states, from Virginia south to Florida and west to Texas and Oklahoma, are below the national average of 5.3 per million people). The differences between the highest ranked and lowest ranked states are sharp (like a good ale?); in fact, Vermont has about 30 times more breweries per capita than Alabama!

Grew up on Busch, switched to Bud Light, and then to Bud Select. I can't drink any of them anymore, since switching to craft beers. About the most commercial beer I drink in Corona.

Some of America’s most famous beers have lost a tremendous amount of their national sales over the last five years. Mostly, they are full-calorie beers, and they have lost sales to lower-calorie products, as well as imports and craft beers. 24/7 Wall St. looked at the 23 largest selling beer products in America and found eight that have lost a staggering 30% or more of their sales between 2005 and 2010.
Most of the beers whose sales declined that much have one thing in common — they are “full-calorie” beers, or about 145 calories a can. Instead, beer drinkers have turned to “light beers,” which have 100 calories a can, and “ultra-lights,” which are closer to 90 calories.

Surprisingly, Budweiser, the best-selling beer in America for years has lost 30% of its sales over the five-year period. Given that Budweiser sold 18 million barrels last year, this is a massive loss – more than 7 million barrels less. Sales of Bud Light, on the other hand, held steady at just over 39 million barrels during the five year period. Six products on our list have lost half their sales since 2005.

Other than lighter-calorie beers, drinkers have also turned to imports, such as Corona, and to craft beers, which are produced, and usually also consumed, in relatively small regions, according to Eric Shepard of beer marketer’s INSIGHTS. Overall, sales of beer from 2005 to 2010 rose 1.9 million barrels to 208.4 million barrels. But sales of the top 20 brands dropped 10 million barrels to 149 million, a sign that Americans have turned to craft beers and imports.

I'll take a regular Budweiser or Miller ahead of a Corona every time. Corona is a bad joke that marketing has passed off on the gullible.

I'm allergic to brewers yeast, so I have to drink beers that are filtered. That means mostly macro-brews, so I drink Bud Light most of the time. It's hardly beer, but it's a beer-ish flavored sody-pop that I can enjoy.

I can get away with one "real" beer from time to time, but anything more than one of a non-filtered beer and I'll really regret it.
