I believe A Christmas Story probably has more "scenes that will live on" throughout the whole movie than any other I can remember ever watching. Way too many to post YouTube video clips of all of them here.
There are great scenes and there is one that is without a doubt the greatest. This from True Grit was rated #1 by Maxim magazine and I have to agree...
Yes, it's an entire movie scene. It's all the wife will have on Christmas eve/day.
Yep,.. might as well just post the entire movie rather than to try to post all the 'memorable' scenes via video clips. Couldn't count the times the, "You'll shoot your eye out, kid" quote from the movie has been used here at the Campfire, alone.
Well, with this crowd I am surprised that one particular cinematic masterpiece scene by Mel Brooks has not been posted yet.
Of course, I refer to the Campfire Fart scene from Blazing Saddles
If this doesn't make you smile at least a little (and you have a Y chromosome -- females don't seem to "get" fart humour), then your inner 5-year old child is dead.
Funniest scene in the "Big Leboski" is when they drop that ferret in the bath tub with the Dude. I laughed until I cried the first time I ever saw it! And also when the cab driver throws him out of the cab and on the street, when he says, "I hate the fuggin Eagles, man"
