Tired of getting on coats and boots each time I go outside. 15 degrees here this morn, but no new snow. I believe that I plowed snow every day of February! Although I am not in an area that floods, I fear for those folks that are if it warms up quickly with all the snow. Looks like 50's this next week with rain so.... Yeah, although wifey and I love it here most of the year, probably find someplace in Florida to ride out Jan-March in the future.
I took the dogs out at 4:30 this AM to go pee...In short sleeve shirt & shorts...felt like mid sixties...sky beautiful & filled with stars...being mobile is great. Got up to 95 yesterday & has been that way just about all week...Gonna have to head north on the first.
Just hopped out of the shower, threw on some shorts and Tony and I are heading to a hot rod car show charity event. Later we head to the VFD to christen the new fire truck and munch a burger. Yesterday we went to Cabelas and saw 87 degrees. Had to put the top up as the sun was working my bald spot. The bluebonnets are up, spring is more than here.
We had snow yesterday but nothing like that! It was funny watching the commute as people flew by me at 60 plus miles an hour only to lose control of their vehicle and crash into guard rails and going into the ditch at 5:00 a.m. The bridges were solid ice and couldn't tell you the amount of trucks, suvs, and vans that were off the side of the road, wrecked.
92 here yesterday and I really am tired of it. I'm not much of an eco nut but what ever is causing the drought in California is really making me rethink moving before the RE prices drop because of it.

I live in Etiwanda. The north east side. Where it is hot again today.
We had about two inches of new snow today. Still a lot of snow in the woods. My grandson and I put on our snow shoes and went for a long walk behind my house following deer trails and looking for sheds. Got a lot of exercise but no antlers. Worked up an an appetite and had BBQ'd salmon for dinner. NOT looking forward to the three H's in July and August! I love the snow!!!!!
On the plus side you do get to send $10's of thousands in tax dollars to the Cuomo regime.
That has to sting.
On the plus side, the shad and stripers are starting to run here, catfish are warming up to the bite, smallmouth and largemouth are both starting to move into the shallows, and the trout are "waking up".
