That happened in my hometown back in Maine. He was family with friends of mine. Lotsa folks (undoubtably many members here) have lucked out while doing dumb schit when they were growing up, he didn't. Would have turned out differently if the mortar launched instead of explode when he lit it. No doubt a dumb move with a some bad luck heaped on. Prayers to his family.
