There's no post time or post number. I think it is always the second "post" in a thread, so I suspect it's a placeholder for an ad that AdBlock Plus doesn't remove.
over on the right of my page it has

as well as the 2nd spot wth the OP's #
I am pretty sure Adblock is removing the ads but not the spaces.
