http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/201...s-plot-to-ban-donald-trump-from-debates/

One idea that came up was to urge three leading candidates — Jeb Bush, the former Florida governor; Mr. Walker; and Senator Marco Rubio of Florida — to band together and state that they would not participate in any debate in which Mr. Trump was present, using his refusal to rule out a third-party bid as a pretext for taking such a hard line. The thinking, according to a Republican involved in the conversations, was that the lesser-funded prospects who have been eclipsed by Mr. Trump would follow suit, and the TV networks airing the debates would be forced to bar Mr. Trump in order to have a full complement of candidates.
It's official. The powers that be (including the RNC) will throw the election to the democrats before they let Trump get a shot at the GOP nomination.

The RNC gave it to Obama in 2008. They're going to give it to Hillary in 2016.
NEVER HAPPEN.
I'll bet it wasn't an idea birthed by any one of the three leading candidates named. grin
Why should we suspect any less from the RNC? The party that gives you McCain, Graham, Boehner, and McConnell.

They just want to go along to get along. Two heads to the same snake.

I watched the RNC throw away a whole generation of conservative voters in order to keep Ron Paul from having an opportunity to get the nomination.

The difference is, Donald Trump appeals to many in the GOP who could be considered mainstream.

None of the mainstream members of the party gave a damn when the RNC put old libertarian Ron Paul through the "process".

They're going to get their eyes opened and be pissed about it when they see it happen to "their" candidate.

I said it back then.

You may not like Ron Paul, but if you've got a brain, you should be outraged at what the establishment is doing to him.

They're going to do what they can to get Trump out of the way now.

THAT NEVER HAPPENED EITHER...
lol..... Trump would have some nice complements for them if they pulled something like that. The Rep party would really be shooting themselves in the foot if they did something like that.

None of the "leading three" would be worth electing if they puss-out on a debate for that reason.
DONALD will be in the debates.

FOX will demand that for the ratings.

GOP will make sure DONALD is included so that he has no excuse to go third party.

RINO, pretty much what most Republicans are these days.

The only saving grace is if the Libertarian Party takes over the RINO Party and changes the course of politics in America.

Darn shame the disenfranchised Republicans in America haven't accepted the fact that the party is dead and a re-birth as Libertarian is the only salvation.
Trump's fundamental approach is scaring the crap out of both sides. Kinda funny actually. None of them have a clue as to how to deal with him.

even with trump, the grand old party has little chance of beating the hillbilly.

without trump, they have zero chance.

when republicans start vying for the illegal alien votes, one knows we're in deep doo-doo.

I'll go with that. I am not typically not a Trump fan as I think he's too narcissistic for my taste. But, he has the platform that most of the common US does not, to say the things we want to say and most importantly, he is wealthy enough to survive the consequences.

Ah, jeez, guys... the first debate won't happen for another year! We'd be better off postin' pics of half-nekkid chicks than going over this drivel.
The only thing that can be depended on with the gop is they will never support a conservative, never allow a libertarian voice be heard, never even offer defence against liberal progressivism, and never do a dmned thing freedom or the American way of life.

Hell bound surrender monkeys with no future and no hope.

After what I've seen over the last decade+ I really can't muster an argument against that statement..
Nope, you can't. ^^
Does anyone know how to contact the RNC? Hell, I Googled it and didn't come up with a web page - what's up with that?

They don't want to hear what you have to say , just sign the check and mail it.
Aw jeez. This is terrible news. I hate to tell y'all, but I'm gonna have to remain election-free for another year yet... doctor's orders, y'know...

If we all get behind one true conservative, (i.e. VOTE), we can get our country back on track. People with your attitude are a big part of the reason we're in this mess!

coming at it from the libertarian perspective does little good. coming at it from the conservative view does little good.

but what is a man to do?

See post right above yours, rally behind one true conservative, spread the conservative message and VOTE!
Gus and TRH in one thread again! Good times, good times.

And that's where the kookery ruins these discussions. Now the RNC is rigging votes.... I mean, really. I guarantee you Trump will be in the debates, until such time and IF he flames out. There is just too much SA nowadays to let the Party RIG elections. Trump is on a roll, but I still have my worries about his real intentions.

What's Trump's position on fluoridated water, shower guns, and haiku-like posts?

while all of those factors are important, critical even, what's important is that the Donald is on record setting the Mexicans up to pay for the fence between the two countries.

that's something even us lowly commoners can sink our teeth into.

smile
I honestly don't think Trump is playing a game with all of this. I think he's just being Donald Trump. I think he's smart enough to realize that all of this stuff the media is dumping on him is the standard operational bullshit,..and above all,..he doesn't care. He's just telling it the way he sees it and not worrying about whether there's going to be a political price to pay.

Last night Anderson "whiffenpoof" Cooper was throwing all of the hardball questions at him, and Trump just looked at him and said, "70% of the media is dishonest",..or something to that effect.

In my opinion, that's how you handle them chitbirds when they try to put you on the spot.

Just look 'em in the eye and say, "By the way,..most people out there think you're a damned liar".

I noticed that ole Anderson "whiffenpoof" Cooper got all stuttery after that.

Freaking Canook, but we've been trying to rehabilitate him! wink
I like the way Trump turns an interview around on the media. I just wish he would get more hardcore about it.

He ought to tell Anderson Cooper, "Okay,...I'll answer that question if you'll now tell the public how old you were the first time you took it up the pooter".

Or to Rachel Maddow,..."What makes a middle aged woman like yourself want to look like Wally Cleaver?"

Fug them media chitbirds.
Trump isn't 'playing right'.

None of these sugar-coaters know how to handle him, because he doesn't actually 'need' them. Despite trying to discredit him daily, his ratings continue to rise.

If he makes it, I'd love to see him in a debate with Hillary. He would push every one of her buttons, rip her to shreds, and set her on fire.

Ron Paul people tried to rig Missouri primary. St. Charles even had to call the cops.

Didn't work. Santorum won.

You might consider a lot more research, study and general paying attention. Cruz is the proven conservative that takes no crap and tells it like it is. He's never waivered on 2A like Trump has, and like Trump, he scares the hell out of both parties.

Maybe so.

I'm just tired of these career politicians measure every word, and never reveal their true selves.

I know, Trump could be putting on a show, but I'm kind of liking it.

I agree with that. Trump has lit a bonfire.

Trump guarantees great ratings for the FOX debate in less than two weeks.

Can't wait for DONALD to face all those he has been bad-mouthing.

Especially Rick Perry...let the games begin...
If nothing else he'll make the debates interesting. Assuming he makes it that far. He can say about anything he wants to because he doesn't have to worry about pissing off the donors. He might be the only thing that would spark any true debate, and actual answers to the questions.
It just shows the GOP/RNC had planned all along to coronate a RINO who would do as the moneyed interests wanted and along comes a spoiler and they don't like it because they are not interested in what the voters want. It's the same exact thing in Congress....two huge wins in reaction to Obama's radical policies and yet the establishment GOP has done nothing BUT ENABLE Obama. They surrendered their rights to vote on treaties and rubber stamped Obama's illegal amnesty program. They're just as corrupt as the Dems at this point.

to say the so=called repubs aren't collaborating with the demo's would be a serious oversight.

if change is going to come to America, it'll take a leader for us to follow in order for it to occur.

the question is does the rank & file want true change, or just more of the sameo-sameo?
Donald Trump learned about ignoring the politicians from Bill Gates. If you make that much money, and do that much business, you better be donating (giving tribute) to both sides. Or they will screw you.
Sometimes support is more against someone else, than for someone.

At the end of the day, I see Trump as a true capitalist.

I had high hopes for Perry last time. When he vapor-locked, I felt like an idiot.

This is the man doing the work of all of us that are true conservatives, every day in the Senate. He may measure his words at times more than Trump, but he is no career politician. He has one and only one concern and that is saving or country from the downward spiral that it's in. This video is from Tuesday of this week.
TRUMP is a buffoon, pure and simple. He is trying to turn the Presidential race into a reality show to bolster his brand, without a thought as to what damage it could do to the Republican chances to win the presidency back, and without a thought as to how it will affect the US.

He is not a serious man, he is a publicity hound who for whatever reason has hoodwinked some into thinking his comments and antics are actually a serious attempt at attaining the presidency, when in fact it is a stunt to promote himself.

we've been in a downward spiral as you call it for a long, long time.

maybe hitching cruz and trump to the same two-horse wagon might help get us across the stream to the other side?

Yep, smart business for high rollers to cover their bets; that's how influence on politics works.

Not sure why it is so hard for folks to process, course it is mostly Bows...

Trump can answer those questions like no other politician can. And there's not a fugking thing anybody can respond with. And Americans won't hold it against him either.

You mean what Sarah calls "Crony Capitalism?"
The RNC has a lot of stupid ideas.
Trump is saying what the rest of the candidates wish they had the guts to say.

When the candidates threw their hats in the ring………..Trump threw his skivvies.

I like that!
Cruz has always tore up the Establishment. For proof of that, just count his enemies on the Hill.
He will make mention of that during the debate.
