A desert bighorn sheep had to check us out while we were up there.

Lookin' down into the Black Canyon of the Gunnison after sampling some of the local Colorado produce. I've decided that it's more suitable for horses and cattle.

Trees have a hard time up on top of the desert mesas, but they live a long time, anyway.

lol,...they're easy to find. Just take the road out of Estes Park up into Rocky Mountain National Park. They probably wouldn't appreciate you taking one up there, though.

Hi B. Figured that for RMNP. Looks like a typical, pleasant, summer RM foray. The mountains in summer make politics irrelevant.

They make everything irrelevant. That's a big part of my attraction to them.

I crippled myself up a few weeks ago just layin' in the bed!, fer Pete's sake.

Had to be hauled to the hospital in an ambulance for sleeping incorrectly.

A trip out west on my scooter would put me in a grave somewhere west of St. Louis.

And just for the record, it wasn't always that way.

For some reason that I don't quite understand, I got old,..she didn't.

But if one of us had to, I prefer that it was me.

If I stay away from the mirror, I don't have to look at me.
