My is a ruger carbine semi-auto 44 mag.
A full compliment of T/C Cherokees, Senecas, and Patriots.

A train car load of M1 Carbines (the real ones).
hello Mr. Gatling...
Colt Patterson.
I believe the 44 mag carbine would make a great hog rifle. I use a remington 7400 now in 30-06. I wish there was a little less kick and a larger bullet surface area.

Now that use mentioned it, a M1 would be great to have too.
Winchester Eagle Scout commemorative.
it would have gone to my son.

I have a small addiction to the carbine, it is possible to get a train car load, you just have to work at it.

Don't you recall adopting another son... "Dad"... ?

I keep running across these old out of production firearms and am drawn to them like a moth to the flame.
I bought one but I wish I would have bought several, along with spare barrels. The Sig SHR 970. It was a bargain, at the same price as a 700, and the equal of many custom rifles. I'm down to two spare barrels (7 RM and 300 WM) and wish I would have bought a bunch more.
First generation Remington 700 Ti in 270 Win. Anyone have one for sale?
Diamondback in .22
Oh, and a Nylon 66
Marlin Cowboy Compitition in 45 Colt. The one with the case hardened receiver and octagon barrel.
Savage 99 358.
A Marlin 336 30-30 Cowboy.

Doc
Too many to list, and I wasn't around when a lot of them were in production but a few that come to mind from recent years are:

Ruger No. 1 .475 Linebaugh

Marlin 338MX .338 Marlin Express (won't buy a "Marlington", even if they do start shipping again)

Remington Seven (original) 6mm Rem

Mauser 99 8x68S

Valmet 412 .375 Win

Ruger 77 RSI .358 Win (vividly remember seeing the listing in a Jerry's Sports wholesale flyer in the late '80s-early '90s)

Kimber Montana....in 260
Smith & Wesson in .22 jet........Model 57?
Since I collect Ruger #1's:

.450 Nitro, though I have only ever seen one with good wood.
.30-30
.270 Weatherby

Maybe a Les Baer 10mm, since he no longer makes them.

There's probably a bunch of others.

Model 53 is/was the Jet.
Wish I'd have gotten a Marlin 336 Spikehorn youth model .30-30. I've no real need for it, but nonetheless it would look good in my safe.
Pre '64 Winchester M 70 .375 H&H Super Grade pre war and a Pre 64 M 70 7x57 standard pre war.
An IMI Timberwolf. .357mag/10 rounds.

Me too. The last 6" royal blue Diamondback in .22LR I saw sell was several years ago ago at an estate auction. The auction was at 10am on a Tuesday, so I thought I might have a chance....the bidding surpassed my limit before I could even get my hand in the air and that beauty sold for the crazy high price of $950. I would take two of them at that price today!

As long as we are wishing, I want plenty of cheap .22 ammo too.

Thanks Pat. Rub it in.

Marlin didn't make one when I had the S&W built in 25-20. Figured I'd get a Winchester, then Marlin came out with the 25-20 and figured I'd get one "later".

Later came and went and I still don't have one.

Colt Python, Royal Blue, 4", 6", 8"

I also wish I could go back in time and pull a brand new Kar98k from about 1935.

A U.S. Firearms 1873 SAA.
A bit pedestrian, perhaps, but a Ruger Redhawk 5.5" in 45 Colt.
Mtnsnake: As far as Rifles go I wish I had another pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Super Grade African (caliber 458 Winchester Magnum).
As far as pistols go I wish I had purchased a Colt Diamondback in 22 L.R with a 2 1/2" barrel and in nickel finish - these are rare, valuable and look so cool.

Some of you guys are old if you were around for Pre-War M70s!

I would have liked to get a matching pair of Diamondback and Python with 4" barrels.

The two guns I always wanted and didn't get before they were discontinued were the Remington XP100R in 260 and a Winchester M9410. Three years ago I came across a XP100R in 308 (even better) for a song and then this past winter I found a NIB 9410. Problem is I wanted the 9410 for rabbit hunting and playing around on the skeet range. I hate to shoot mine that's NIB and a limited run of 150 with a color case hardened receiver.

Colt single action serial #1.GW
It is a toss-up between a second Ruger Gold Label and a Marlin Model 39 Carbine.
Haven't read the whole thread, but my wish would have been to acquire a whole lot of different pre-64 Model 70s. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to buy any more than the one that I had.
