Have not seen anything in a long time so I am just wondering how things have been going on this rebuild? Sure hope everything is going well?
It actually caught fire and is being investigated by the insurance co at this time.

GTFOH! shocked Tell me you're joking, Tom.
scoundrels

everything is fine. its just that the dave of the north finds himself working hard for his table scraps these days. lol.

no time for interwebz shenanigans.

the body on the mach 1 is solid again, waiting on a large order to come in (monday) for 2 new fenders, a door skin and basically every seal, joint, bushing, bearing available for the car plus brake system from the master cylinder out to the new drums and rotors, including the stainless lines in between. new fuel line, sending unit.... shocks.... just new, new, new.

meanwhile we are methodically trimming, shaping an d stitching new quarter panels on a 66 chev that is near and dear to my heart.

the 71 camaro is nearing color stages.

I have yet another 69 mach 1 outside the shop, waiting for its turn. also on the shelf is a 69 ranchero and this charming but sinister beauty.

plus, Pam and Nathan drug this old 2 wheeler home for us to play with as our own project (in our "free time") lol

Everything is fine.

I'm just busier than 3 cats f#cking in a wool sock, thats all.

grin
Don't turn your back on that one Dave,....I saw what it did in a movie once...

[Linked Image]

Yeah, if'n you hear some creepy old music coming out of it, RUN!
BTW, glad to hear you're busy, Dave. I hope that equates to making some $$$, too.
i wish it meant money, lol.

maybe in my 2nd year of business?

Did I really need to say new car dealer?

Thanks for updating me on your projects. You are really ambitious rebuilding so many at one time. Your talents are becoming "Legendary" because I have never heard of anyone trying to rebuild a Mustang that was as far gone as the white one you are doing.

I hope you are going to be highly rewarded financially for what you do.

Please keep the pictures coming as much as you can. I love watching the transformation.

Hey, Dave, how's about a web cam? wink
Ya, a webcam. I want to see those three cats in the sock! 😜
That 57 Fury looks pretty darn clean to start with, especially compared to the Mustang!

A friend of mine bought a new 57 Golden Fury and took me for a ride. Wow, I was impressed by how just quick it was. It only had a 3 speed column shift as Plymouth didn't offer a 4 speed tranny at that time. None the less, it would run neck and neck with the 57 F.I. BelAirs.

Respects,
Richard
AH, life is better now that I have had a Shaw Works fix!
It's Saturday! We are going to cruise to a local area car show with some of our junk.

Taking the 53 Ford and the 77 Ford.

The 53 is all cleaned up, the 77 needs to be raised off and wiped down yet this morning.
The pic of the 53 looks great.
She still needs a little work, but sure runs and drives nice.

I started decoding last night (data plate)

We learned that the 53 was built in Long Beach.

Maybe it was a west coast car most of its life?

Truck looks great!
Dave, I'd sure like to see that Camaro as a finished product. mtmuley

Nate comes rollin down the street and the crowd was like "whoahhh look at that truck!"

I don't think he even had it backed into his show spot yet and there was 20 people all around it.

It really is that bad ass!

That is what I expected.

However, I was surprised that your toenails were not painted. wink

Toenails? Oh you don't want to see that.

Both big toes have been smashed, the one on the left never came back right, its like half a toenail. The one on the right foot just shed its purple turtle shell and its kind of a 3 color, 3 texture "nail". It's interesting and gross.

New boots are helping, it would be better if I wasn't too stupid to sit down once and a while.
