Very sad. Prayers for the family and friends.

He stopped to help what he thought was a stranded motorist,thats part of his job,thats part of being human.

I understand they checked the suspect's apartment and found his "room mate" murdered also.

Seen this on another news sight,thoughts and prayers go out to the family,,

Condolences and prayers extended for the Trooper's Family and ALL the Louisiana State Police Force....Peace be with them...

I sure hope the Justice System takes this guy to the Electric Chair for this....

May the Good Lord be with and watch over each and every LEO on the Campfire here....every day on duty...

And not just the LEO's on the 'Fire - but all of them.
