Gone too soon...

At least we have a lot of footage of the boys.

can't watch that now but will check it out in the AM.

So glad I got to see him in San Diego (with Joe Cocker) before he left us.

Until you mentioned it I didn't realize it had been so long already.

Geno
SRV could speak through those guitars.

May he RIP
I enjoyed his music early on and saw him live some years later where his never ending repetitive solos just lost me. Give me Dickey Betts or Warren Haynes any day.
He did a great cover of - Little Wing.
Voodoo Chile is one my favorites and Rivera Paradise is amazing. We have had it lucky to have had as many great ones play and entertain us.Stevie Eric Jimmy Joe Bonamassa.Way better than hiphop.
I passed on one his concerts in Fairbanks, AK shortly before he died. Truly regret that decision. What a guitarist!
I got to see Double Trouble at Alpine Valley Lodge about 2003/4- first show they had done there since SRV died in the crash. Love his, and their, music.

SRV was the greatest Blue's Guitarist ever, IMO. And one of the top 10 greatest, in all of R & R.
Thanks for the link and heads up, Mo.

The best.
